It's just a website that allows you to make calls. It was originally designed for prank calls and gets slammed around April Fools day. I've used it to have a teachers cell ring and then when they answered it was calling an old vice principle of mine that everyone hated. The site just created a more streamlined page that makes it easier for the PS3 to use.
Maybe in 18 months Sony will finally give you HD cables with that $600 hunk of metal.
Why is this news when Microsoft has repeatedly stated this long before the elite even existed. They have even said many times that the Elite is not meant for people to upgrade to so if you do this is your own problem. Going to the 120 gb hdd won't give you this problem. This is no surprise, it's just sony fanboys.
This is also not the same sound as a disk getting scratched. This is a more scattered and deeper sound than the scratching videos. I don't think it's related to the other scratching problems, this is a one console isolated problem.
Why is the USB door stuck open? Could it have been broken from abuse? When are people going to learn, the PS3 is know to be the best console for an abusive relationship this generation.
Intel only offers solo, dual, and quad. Apple likes to offer dual processors. They have been doing it since before people were thinking about cores and continue to. The 8 core Mac Pro is just a Mac Pro with two Intel quad core processors.
Everyone knows that there is a new Xbox coming. Microsoft has even confirmed that they are working on one. They also said that the 360 will last 5 years or more depending on how Sony's plans pan out. So that means expect the 360 in November of 2010!
The only point that i agree with is the premium market place. Gold members should have faster download speeds and some kind of discount. Maybe a Gold Lottery where when you buy a movie you get a random gift ranging from a discount, free HD upgrade or a free movie.
Finally a nascar game is playable on the 360. Unfortunately it's not the newest version.
The 120 gig hard drive (elite and separate) come with a special cable.
This may be enough to allow me to wait for it to hit $30 in the fall!
Why should people be buying a computer a year after an OS is released and receive a copy of a seven year old os. It has no effect on the people who use Xp and the people saying the number of users XP has are right. XP has tons of users which means they need to stop shipping it or else those same people will be buying another computer with the same old OS instead of a actually upgrading. That is how technology becomes stale and innovation disapears. The general public (which sounds to be allot...
Yahoo says the high today was $54.95 but back in 2002 (April 13, 2002 is five years) the April high was $56.44, the may high was $59.95, and the september high was $56.44. If you were to go back farther though march was $57.10 and it was all high before that with the all time high of $314.75 in February of 2000. Between March 0f 1999 and October of 2000 Sony stayed well above $100 so this isn't really good times for stock when compared to how sony has done overtime.
This isn't meant for TVs. It was designed for use with computers. The reason computers use VGA and some use DVI rather than switching to HDMI is that the manufacturers don't want to pay royalties for each port they install on a computer. This format is royalty free which is what the computer manufacturers have been waiting for to make the switch to a new format.
MSN and Yahoo! are merged IM clients. I don't think Yahoo! would turn on Microsoft for Sony and by signing the deal Sony would be signing on to the MSN network.
I agree, with the high name artists that are being signed to these games custom soundtracks aren't as important. The music for most games are now good and go with what you are playing. I often even find new good songs when playing games like Burnout. I wanted that feature on my N64 and then only used it on my Xbox for a month and never on my 360. It's more of a cool feature that isn't as needed or cool as it sounds.
Isn't upscaling a 360 feature not an add on feature? That is probably why it's not really mentioned since it is an item that you get with the console and not the drive.
So Home is a stripped down niche group version of Second Life?!?! I still don't see why i won't compare them from his reasons.
They do charge on a sliding scale. If you run Vista Home Basic you pay less than the people who run Vista Home Premium and get the Aero.
Exactly, these are two different things. This comparison would be better between second life and Home since they are the same. Home is more of a game. They should compare it to a game.
Xbox Live = Playstation Network
Xbox Marketplace = Playstation Store
Xbox Live Arcade = PS one downloads (questionable, may be something more comparable)
Second Life (PC) = Playstation Home
There is no comparison for Home on the Xbox because it's something that has been on the...
