Anyways, I'm just playing MGS4 now, loving it. But a character can be pretty bad azz while the actor behind it is a douche. Look at Maverick in Top Gun. Bad azz! Best movie ever! Tom Cruise? Douche.

Regardless of whose fault it is, one argument to defend RROD was that, "so what it's covered by warranty" well the fact you have to deal with warranties introduces the chance of errors by other parties, instead of just playing the damn console.
I like both. Sometimes I want a linear story. Sometimes I like the sandbox "freedom" style games. Why does one have to be better than the other.
Give me more options (freedom in life!) and I'll decide if a game is good or not. There is no freedom in God of War and I'll be damned if someone told me it would be better if different.

Me too, I was quite dissappointed. I know what UT is all about, and I know it is heavily multiplayer based. I understand that, I've played the original Unreals on PC a decade ago.

I don't even have a 360 yet, but the only ad I can remember recently that really made me want a game was Gears of War ad during christmas a couple years back.
