i find alan wake to be a lot like metal gear's style. A deep story and lots of action and gameplay in between. granted the cutscenes are a shorter than mgs, but i think you see where im coming from

I have a macbook pro, and i am a big apple fan, but i completely agree that apple should at least give the user an option to switch to other drivers. It could even have both loaded and make it a switch in the preference pane. "hardcore graphics mode" or something
Coming from someone who actually liked armageddon (mostly for the concept), this game looks epic
hey now, Annihilation is my guilty pleasure. Just because it has nothing to do with the storyline of mortal kombat doesnt mean its not a so-bad-its-awesome cult classic
graphics are nice, but gameplay is more substantial. Regardless of the console. Unless the graphics are so bad that they interfere with the gameplay, then i do not consider myself a graphics snob. Dont get me wrong, MGS4 looks fantastic, and it really adds to the realism of the game, but in a fun, comicbook-superhero style game like crackdown, im not basing my purchase on graphics alone. I think devs spend so much time on graphics, many AAA titles fall short on gameplay like with super short ...
Really looking forward to this game. The first one was great, and MOOR has yet to be beat IMHO
The swordplay in MGS2 was sweet. I just hope they carry over the some of the awesome arsenal of weaponry from MGS4, and i loved the weapon upgrade system in MGS4 as well. But i definitly agree with Batzi that it will (hopefully) be like MGS4 where you can choose. But with MGS4's awesome arsenal, it was almost torture when i beat it without killing anyone.
except metal gear, final fantasy, and grand theft auto. you know, those obscure games that equal .01%
they could lower the harddrive, or even do like what xbox does by offering no hd and make it utilize a flash drive. Its not beyond Sony to make the user shell out for a proprietary memory card (see ps2, those were ridiculously expensive).
Cut out Wifi, HD, some usb and even though their profit margin drops theyd make a killing. Even moreso if they sold their own memory sticks like xbox is doing now (also overpriced)
