Oh good, another need for speed. I'm just holding out for Hot Pursuit. EA Black box consistantly disappoints
awesome, more reasons to go back to the demo!
I completely agree. I am saying that Twisted Metal is going to have to change their multiplayer mode to better acclimate the game to a console that is very online capable. If the online sucks on most multiplayer style games then they will not sell well. Most people are not buying PS3 games for the "couch-co-op", they will want a high quality online experience, preferably with matchmaking, like you should expect from a High quality title like Twisted metal
Personally, Jaffe is not my favorite Dev. Especially with the whole fiasco about him "not working on TM" and then acted like oh look i fooled you. He constantly gripes and complains on his twitter and in articles i see everywhere.
He says that a level system is like asking for better pieces in chess, whereas it is more like going against an opponent that is actually on your level. TM hasnt really had a good shot at online, i barely know anyone who habitually playe...
shovelware in the sense that it is not a really current gen game riding the coattails of a franchise people love.
I would be surprised if Jaffe refused to follow the norms of today's multiplayer game. Just because the series hasn't seen a game since the launch of the PS2 doesnt mean it can be the same game almost a decade later. To make this new Twisted Metal awesome, Jaffe is going to have to improve the twisted metal formula and give the game something new, or else it will just be shovelware.
I do like Zero Punctuation, but its not always a good representation of the game, as he just highlights flaws. I usually give a game a chance if it has something of merit
I agree, MGS4 had lengthy cutscenes, but they were great! i could see them being a little shorter than 4 and more like 1-3, but you gotta have the cutscenes in MGS
haha yeah, I was expecting more reviews, but the song was a surprise
I didnt even like shift! and launching at the same time as forza it was a no brainer. They even gave you both demos to compare
Bethesda is awesome. Im really looking forward to this and Brink from them
BTW. Gamescom is on the 18 to the 22 August 2010.
TGS is September 16 to September 19 in 2010.
it seems so far away!
a guy can dream. Thats all...
Also looking forward to Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, and Red Faction Armageddon!
this guy knows what im talking about!
or flash drive distribution. that would be sweet. same cases, but with a flash drive inside
or have a digital distribution backup as part of Xbox Live and PSN+
and steam is usually pretty well priced especially as the game gets older they know how to depreciate and have good sales. Half Life 2 was 6.99 a few weeks ago!
yeah, i just like the idea of buying it once and getting access to it digitally. example, i bought fable II, it got a minute scratch on it so i couldnt play it, and i had to buy another copy. I already had license to the media, but the medium was what was damaged. so i had to pay for another copy/license when i should have been able to just download it or something
quality
i hope the battery element doesnt turn out like lost planet, that sucked,
