The battle system is confusing at first, but you get the hang of it very quickly. Most of the time you're selecting auto battle while switching up the jobs of the characters against certain enemies. Definitely one of the more rewarding RPG battle systems, though it's not without fault.
And they don't even bring up the horrible cover system?
I've gotten killed three times because the cover system decided to put me on top of the cover object where I could jump down and was a sitting duck.
@niceguywii60
Thanks for backing me up to prove that the Halo 3 footage is Pre-Alpha while completely missing the point.
Halo 3's graphics got WORSE pre-alpha to final.
Halo 2's graphics got WORSE pre-alpha to final.
Bungie is using pre-alpha as an excuse for all the criticism they received. Could the game look better pre-alpha to final? Sure, but history has shown they can't back up early screens.
@niceguywii60
Pre-Alpha is the earliest stage of development. Alpha would mean that the game is mostly playable. Beta would mean that the game is nearly complete, just bug fixing and tweaking to finish the product. The E3 2006 trailer was definitely Pre-Alpha.
I didn't do anything to the screen shot. It was taken from Bungie.net

Mass Effect 1 claimed to take 20-30 hours...
And I beat it my first time in 10.
Bodyboarder_VGamer is absolutely correct.
Why do people want action/racing/fps running at 60 FPS? So the controls are improved. Doesn't really matter if they game is running at 60 fps is your input device is only running at 30. Modern gaming controllers all run over 100 fps Natal is going to be very bad for anyone who wants to play real games.
However the one positive is that this means that Microsoft is looking to be cost effective. It will not be $200 or $100 ...
Graphics do matter. They're not everything as a game needs great game play. But having a weaker system does restrict developers which is why you see so many terrible games on Wii.
As for your statement "So EVERY SINGLE game on Xbox was better than PS2"
Just not true. Which is why you saw Gran Turismo 4 look a generation ahead of Forza 1. How MGS2 on PS2 blew away the Xbox version. And how Silent Hill 3 looked far superior to Silent Hill 2 & 4 which ...
Uncharted 1 came out a year after the PS3 launched and still blows away everything on the 360.
Polyphony just sets much higher standards which is why people are disappointed. The game doesn't even look bad, blows Forza 3 away in the comparison. And just think about having 16 highly detailed cars compared to Forza's 8 cars that look like plastic.
@Hoggy1983 Bayonetta is already out...
The GT Academy Demo is more definitive than Forza 3.
Definitive
Mass Effect 2 PC
Alan Wake PC
Splinter Cell Conviction PC
Left 4 Dead 2 PC
Xbots really need to know the definition of an exclusive.
Forza 3 looks like an upscaled Forza 1. I could barely tell the difference, slightly better lighting and more vibrant colors in Forza 3 is all. Definitely no definitive graphics to be seen.
More detailed huh?

Silent Hill 2 was weak in terms of horror compared to the first game.
It's just too bad they couldn't implement Pyramid Head stalking you like they had planned.
The only part that I found scary about SH2 was when you went underneath the historical society/lake.
It has nothing to do with differences in culture.
You saw recently how Infinity Ward was talking about how people needed to buy Uncharted 2. They didn't have to run their mouth of because they're secure with their own game.
Turn 10 just seems like a jealous studio who knows that they can't match the competition so they have to lie, deceive, and scream at the top of their lungs like a child whining for attention.
Wonder who the poor Forza fanboy was that wrote that.
That track is 3 years old and still looks better than Forza. 3 year old demo, more definitive than Forza 3.
2 year old demo still the definitive racing game.
Can't wait for GT5.
Metacritic sucks because video game reviews in general suck. And they suck because whiny fanboys hype themselves up so much about a game before even playing it that they'll b**** about a 7 before they even get their hands on the game.
