Why do people keep saying this? It was already down by a significant number in 2017 and also Gamepass is nothing like it is now. I don't think anything can tun a tide when you are already down by 40 million. Please act like you have some Common sense. Sony wouldn't have changed PS Now if they didn't care about Gamepass. Sony, IGN, and Playstation fans are the only ones that still care about console wars.

Seems like a lot of fans hate women in games and they were hiding it by pretending that they care about the historical accuracy of a video game. Seems like selective caring because there are many game that you could raise the question the historical accuracy, but you don't really hear it.

They really didn't push it until the end of 2019 when they saw that Gamepas was starting to catch on adding a download option. Jim Ryan even spoke on at the end of 2019
They are not dropping the ball because they see all the Gamepass hate from sites like this and come to the conclusion that it's not worth the investment. They know that fans won't all of a sudden like game subscription services.

Yes it is exciting Ps5 and PC. I have a ps5, so I know I will get the first one and then the sequels that probably won't be on the platform, similar to Hellblade.

Don't know what network adapter has to do with Xbox Live on the Original Xbox and a hard drive came with the system and anyone that had the system knows that the memory never ran out. No need for memory cards. Achievements pretty much speak for themselves
Sega channel wasn't an unified online gaming network, but I remember that. They started moving in that direction with Dreamcast with dial up which is why I have them up there but it was never realized. Microsoft coming from a computer background was able to get it up and running broadband only.

I don't care if the Switch passes GBA but I know that their numbers pretty much amount to guesses and then they adjust to what the NPD data says. These have never been official numbers and no company from Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft has ever used them. I have had nice time with both systems. The sites just gives fans numbers that they can talk about. The NPD even dissed them years ago.

Yet Nintendo still seems to be in first place. Gamepass when it first came out is nothing like it is now. It came out in 2017 roughly 4 years after the the Xbox One launch, so why would it have an effect on any outcome. Make sense please. The media always slobs Playstation even in the terrible PS3 era and Japan advantage that will forever be there is the only reason PS3 closed the gap on 360, still lost to Wii and was not number 1 in any territory overall.
