There was nothing really nothing on Playstation 4 at that time but LOU Remastered, so there was nothing else to compare it to. The next Sony game didn't come out until feb 2015 and that was The Order 1886 which is held in a higher regard than Sunset with much lower review scores. If mixed reviews played a part
Thank you Activision. I knew the the Sony Deforce Force would be here sooner or later with his silly logic. The game and Insomniac were trashed by these entitled little fanboys because it wasn'ton Playstation. Crazy part about about it was that there was about nothing on PS4 that was better than it at the time in fact there was nothing on PS4 the lousy first year that was better than Titanfall or Sunset Overdrive. Sony had a presentation that pretty much stated that a couple of weeks ago....
Yeah but Playstation fans trashed the game when it came out talking about 900p and now all of a sudden they want to play it lol. They even trashed insomniac as well because they nade a gsme on Xbox. Tribalism for big corporation kinda shines a negative light on a certain group of gamers.
It was crowd funded to come to PS4 before the company was purchased, so it was not obligated to come to Ps5 especially after the purchase.

They don't have to just like Ubisoft isn't reporting numbers either even with the new Assassin's creed the most successful game in the series. They go by players. Sony didn't have to the stip in America during the 360 gen because the NPD did it for them in 2010. Since the NPD handles America they stopped reporting numbers in 2010 because it was PS3s worst region with them ending up a distant 3rd behind 360 and Wii.

I'm one of the people that bought the game, but could've played it on Gamepass. I got the special edition just like last year. You can get it for a 10 to 20 percent discount since it's
on Gamepass and thats with every game.I'm not sure how much they Sony actually makes since the game is published by MLB on Xbox and not Sony. I really don't know the split.
Returnal's debut was just okay considering that we don't even know how much a 2 year old MK game sold. It wil be telling what the charts say next month because every other chart that Returnal had a debut on show that it dropped like a rock the next weeks. So it will be interesting
