The fact that the 360 basically tied ps3 without the help of Japan and most of Europe is amazing. NINTENDO AND SONY WILL ALWAYS HAVE JAPAN because they are Japanese companies, and before people bring up apple, i suggest they look at where apple is at in china right now which is 5 place behind chinese companies that are afterthoughts in americw. So xbox would have to win America and the UK to keep pace, like last year when they outsold ps3 in America 45 million to 26 million.

Sony big games this year are not from Japan. When I look at the npd from Jan until now, I only see a few games on those from Japan in the top ten and the rest are non Japanese. So he is right on this. Nintendo is the exception because their in house games are Japanese, Sony's naughty dog, guerrilla games and a few others aren't Japanese companies.
Which makes what 360 did last generation even more impressive. They basically tied ps3 with one territory and a half.
