What could a person that doesn't have an Xbox or Gamepass add to this discussion? A person with Gamepass would be able to understand how it works and wouldn't asking silly questions or pretending to know more a game than the actual DEVELOPER of the game.

If you have never used Gamepass and don't know how it works......please STFU because you're not a credible soures of info when it comes to Gamepass.
That engine is outdated, so they would have to build it up from scratch to take full advantage of the newer systems.
Glad to have the option to do both. You can play it on Gamepass and buy it at a discount for Gamepass subs and anyone that has a problem with options is silly. Most people down vote it because the don't have the option.
Mafiabrett Of course when you buy a game you keep it. All the games on gamepass you can buy at a little discount if you have gamepass. There were a lot of games on sale the last two weeks at about 60 to 70 percent off and a lot of those were on sale so you could buy them if you wanted to just in case the game leaves the service. I did it with Hitman because it was about to leave the service Aug 1, so I bought it on sale for $9.99. Once you buy a game you own it.
I don't think that the one dollar is still going on, but 9 to 14 dollars is not bad plus a little discount if you want to own The Outer Worlds. I play Gamepass and buy the games that I think that could leave the service when they do a big sale like the one they just did. So if you are playing with Gamepass or buying it I think that it looks like it's going to be a good game.

They knocked themselves from the top when they decided to use cartridges instead of CD's and because of that FF7 which was announced for N64 64DD went to Sony. Sony has always been good at capitalizing on other's mistakes.

Most of those games are not on gamepass.
If you download the Gamepass app, you will be able to download games from there and see what is leaving soon.
They wouldn't be able to prevent games from leaving because they don't own third party games. The only games that they can dtsy on without worrying about them leaving are the ones that are made by Microsoft.
