Why would Nintendo release a system six years later in the same gen that's about to end? I think most are just looking from a power perspective and that same type of thinking won the wii, 360, ps3 gen. Switch is a ninth gen console.

It's not a joke. Wii won the ps3 and 360 generation and Wii U got killed in the xbox one, ps4 gen. Switch is Nintendo's newest system in the 9th gen.
Switch is already ahead in the 9th generation by almost 50 million and that number will be more when the other systems come out.
We know nothing about the games coming but so-called experts on here like NG1992 act like they know what the future holds. MS doesn't get what? They have the power and now all they need the games. You have no idea about the games they have coming....so how can anyone draw any conclusions about the system based on this quick showing of how it looks? Fanboys are the worst

That's a good question. I am anxious to see if streaming will affect the console market like smartphones affected the handheld market.

These awards aren't real and now more than ever, I feel that there are more and more fanboys are doing reviews and awards shows that it makes it hard to take them seriously. I am not going to say that games name, but it was mediocre at best and it damn sure shouldn't be a goty nominee. Fanboy run this nonsense anyway.

EA laughed at the deal because they thought that it wasn't a good deal because others can still make baseball games which was the complete opposite to the Madden deal where no one but EA could make football. Phones hurt the handheld market the same way streaming is going to hurt the console market next gen.

I have seen unbiased reviews and it seems to work well. Now I'm not saying that I will get one, but I'm interested in seeing more unbiased as opposed to fanboys who just hate change. Next generation will be great because there will be so many ways to play and I think that it will make everyone provide options because you won't be able to rest on your laurels from previous generations.

The first xbox came with a hard drive that pretty much never ran out of space when Ps2 still had memory cards. You are paying now for Sony aren't you? They must've been on to something.
