Google, Apple, and pretty much any competing company in existence used money to acquire assets to add to their portfolio. Nothing new here, just a bunch of people mad at Microsoft because they wanted to keep using the same tired narratives against them, but they can't now.
They can do whatever they want to do. Apple bought Beats, Google bought Youtube, Motorola and HTC, Coke bought vitamin water. Companies acquire assets and this is no different.

They wanted to get the IPs and there is nothing wrong with that. Now they have those IPs in their stable and they can do what they please with them.

Excellent point dcbronco. Plus Gamepass wasn't in play back then like it is now. Bethesda's games can be on a 100 million plus Android phones and tablets through Gamepass. Zeroblue Sony has bought tons of studios, so this is no different. Like they built all of those studios from the ground up.

Yes, the same way Fox movies still say Fox but they are owned by Disney. Phil already talked about it. They will honor the Ghostwire and Deatjloop deal, but future games will Xbox, PC and maybe other platforms, but a big maybe. Nothing to see here.

That's what you say Asweplay, but that doesn't make it true. I expect this deal to to make the games available for Xbox,PC and Xcloud. Those are many screens of many different sizes which is what Howard talked about. Now, as for the games that were already in development like Ghostwire and Deathloop, i can still see those coming on Ps5 but also Xbox as well now. No one talks like this when Sony locks up exclusives like FF16, but as soon as Microsoft does this, everyone wants the games...
You have PC,Xcloud and Xbox to choose from, so you have many choices.
XBOX+PC+Xcloud No need for the games to go anywhere else.
The games do not need to come to PS with Xbox, PC and Xcloud. Those are many screens and they are enough to not need Playstation.

Some gamers wanted to keep the Microsoft" no games" narrative going and when they did something about it, now people are complaining. Sony has its first-party lineup to hang their hats on, so there shouldn't be any uproar from Sony fans. Leave Microsoft alone.
