With all the other racers coming out at the same time, it makes me wish these guys made another Motorstorm again. Remember how crazy that trailer was back in 05-06? Motorstorm would have separated from the pack.
I think its weird to sell new hardware only $100 more than the old system. I hope they can cut at least $100 off ps3 by ps4 launch. It's weird to think these consoles have been out for so long, yet are STILL $300.
Iuno. I guess it just comes down to first parties not having the same draw as third. But I absolutely think it was first party devs that turned the PS3 around. Their exclusives are almost always the first thing I hear people mention when they talk PS3 vs 360. I sure as hell don't want them to go away or be made irrelevant because they do the same things as yearly multiplats.
And yet your games will prolly still have to run on 8 year old hw so that power is going nowhere. You NEED these consoles for your games to get bigger and better.
I know my pc is no where near ps4. I'm looking forward to those blazing graphics on my new 60' tv. I neglected putting expensive parts into my pc because they weren't necessary to run games. My PC might be below average, but I'm right on the line now when it comes to spec req for games today. Which is all the more reason PS4 looks so damn good right now =).
I think what we need first is for one console to grossly outsell the other, before we can see games optimised for each. If PS4 took off way ahead of everybody else, MS would have to dig deep into their cloud and pull out some magic. Maybe find someway to make slow internet work afterall? (im no engineer, obviously). Kinda like 6th gen.
I don't think they'd bundle them for less than $600. But I would be chomping at the bit to get at that bundle with that price!
Agreed. Also if you "prefer" your joysticks not to wereout, go DS3 over 360. IMO anyway.
Xbox is infact rolling out free games as of e3. Halo 3 and AC2 were announced. I'm not sure if its tied to old or not, they just said "here are 2 free games" but I assume this is the snowball slowly picking up pace to match ps+

I don't really think balance factors in as heavily as you might think. People make proprietary peripherals for pc and console games all the time. For just that purpose, (to stack the odds in your favor) and quality of life enhancements. I think these boxes should come with kb&m standard and thats the end of it. (I miss my chat boxes in multiplayer games =\)
I do not see why, in this day and age, for those game that could be made better with a kb&m, why they don't just offer that. Most people I assume have them with usb, and if not they aren't expensive. Why can't that option simply be there?
Im torn on whether or not to buy this now or wait in hopes of a pc port. Any chance of getting one before the end of the year?
