Nice about Borderlands, but I bought that all years ago. Might be nice to have a copy on the hard disk so I can fire it up anytime though. A lot of stuff is expiring on 9/11, I hope that means there are more games coming.
Extra hours I have to wait before I can start downloading the goodness... but I guess that's not always a bad thing. :)
it's been a reverse hibernation all summer. it's ironic that all of the good games come out during the months that much of their biggest customer bases are busy with school. luckily(?) for me, my busiest times are during the summer.
There is some good stuff trickling in... Sound Shapes is awesome, albeit short. I'm already over halfway through the albums. But I'm looking forward to fiddling with the editor.
But yeah, I'm anxious for some blockbusters. Uncharted: GA was good, but it wasn't enough to keep people's interest for the past 6 months while we wait for more big games.
Yeah, I'm surprised they left it as a post-launch feature to be added. That should have been a day one feature. It's good that they've added it post-launch, but still...
I'm also hoping there are more PSP titles that are supported after the new update. I'd love to play MGS Portable Ops on my Vita.
But all Vita sadness aside... this is a HUGE update. They're definitely gearing up for the holiday season. Seventeen bajillion HD collection...
The concept is really awesome. It's really a great idea. I hope they put out more levels for it with DLC, because it's really a lot of fun.
The Wii U still isn't as powerful as the PS3 despite being "newer".
For low-bandwidth communication between the PS3 and Vita, there is blueooth which is the same tech that the Dualshock controller uses. Bluetooth I think goes up to about 3 Mbps, and it's pretty low latency.
For higher bandwidth communication, the PS3 and Vita can communicate over a point-to-point wifi network. as long as they are within a reasonable range they can get 54 M...
Wow that's a lot of stuff. No standalone Peace Walker for PS3? Still bugs me that they didn't release a native Peace Walker for Vita. I love that game so much.

Now, the EU PS+ games are different from NA. I didn't hear them say which region would be getting Red Dead. Maybe we'll get some clarification later today.
