Here is what they want to hide - thq was poorly managed.
Why is it that people are so afraid of coming out and saying, yeah we totally fucjed that up. sorry, my bad. hiding behind legal smoke screens like this just tells us what we already know.
don't talk about Seb's mother like that
it is more of an issue early on when the library for new games is small. As time goes on, it becomes less of an issue. But even to start, it's not that big of a deal. I mean, I can't play old DOS games on my pc without going through the hassle of finding an emulator that it works on. even a lot of early windows games don't play well on newer versions of windows. I would rather they focus their money and people on making the next gen experience solid and keep the console pr...
you can put an ssd in the ps3 now. I doubt they will offer a model with ssd included, not until the prices get closer per gig to spinning disks
the memory is one of the things they were specific about.
and microtransactions
gigazombies?
I love microtransactions, they just told me so!
wow, so many uninformed people with strong opinions
MY EYES
The only thing stopping me is ESPN. As soon as I can stream College Football live, cable is gone.
I play all video game genres. CoD AND Madden.
I just hope that our options continue to expand and not start to contract. Limiting used games, online passes, requiring unlock codes, etc. are going to piss me off something fierce. And I hope they figure out a way to register all of the PS3 disc games for streaming once PS3 games are streamable. I'm going to be incredibly pissed if they expect us to buy stuff YET AGAIN to be able to continue to play them on PS4.
Oh the things you could do with 64KB of RAM! California Games was the best.
Gaming today is light years from where it was even 10 years ago. And don't get me started on how far it's come since I was a kid. I remember playing games on C64 until my 5.25" floppies literally melted.
Every company does this, although maybe not as explicitly.
Of course, there are "hackers" and there are "hackers convicted of felonies". It's one thing to hire someone who "hacks" their own stuff, and hiring someone who does stupid shit like Anonymous does.
I am continually surprised by the strength of PS Plus. Sony has done a great job making it well worth the money.
you're clearly a hack. it deserves at MOST three unicorns.
speaking of the Vita, Persona 4 Golden has been one of the few Vita games to do well and sell Vitas. Granted, it talks a lot about death... hmmm...
I think streaming is the best approach to bc. At this point most systems at least have Internet access available, at least for people who care enough to want bc.
I do agree, bc is important. But I don't think it's so important it has to be native hardware bc. It is more important early in the generation when the software library is small. I would be ok with a higher priced sku that includes hardware bc, but you would need essentially the majority of the innards ...
