But Gears of War cut scenes are rendered in real time on the 360's hardware, to bad the PS3 can't render the georgeous graphics of gears of war and the cut scenes using the engine look as good as CG. Sure fooled you huh, thats how powerful the 360 is, no more CG cut scenes, 360=real time cut scenes.
Word is out GOW reached over 1 million pre-orders, so it is safe to say it will sell way more before christmas.
wonder how long it will be before the PS3 copies this. I know this keyboard and a large hard drive are coming. TO HIGHPS3--->You can use usb keyboard with the 360 as well, but you didn't know that because you are stuck up sony's a$$. Anyway I would rather have this than a full size keyboard anyday.

I have played through one hour of GOW, BEST GRAPHICS EVER! And when I say that it blows everything away by a long shot, even your precious PS3. It will only get better from here, since Mass Effect is using the same engine. I was simply blown away from the into movie through the whole first hour. Too bad I had to go to bed to get some sleep for work. GOW is a masterpiece much like The Lord of the Rings, it is an epic action game.
I am at work now wishing I was playing GOW, that game is a masterpiece. It's like playing an epic movie like Lord of The Rings. SIMPLY MINDBLOWING visuals and sound. I had chills run down my spine several time through the first hour of gameplay, it is by far the best game and shooter I have ever played. And it is the most beautiful game ever, almost pixar movie quality. Too bad the PS3 can't render visuals like that. GOW puts any game ever created to shame visually.
If you can't afford a premium console you probably can't afford live, internet connection, and expenses for the tv shows and movies so it is no big deal.
Played through about an hour of gears last night and I have to say it is the most visually stunning game ever created!!! FUN AS HE!!

As announced today you do not need HD-DVD or Blu-Ray to play HD movies on the 360, you can RENT them off xbox live, so take off the HD-DVD drive bud. Now the PS3 price don't look so hot now does it.
It would take a week to download a 1080p movie plus like 10gb of storage. 720p looks very good and is a smaller file size, so i think they made the right choice. I know sony said something about movies and tv show, but they haven't actually implemented into the PS3 from what I've seen in videos. Who knows, its not even out yet.

And if you get the 20gb PS3 you will be stuck in the same boat with the small hard drive. I personally, would love to download CSI in hi-def or movies for that matter, helll with expensive gas a trip to the movie rental place and back with a rental purchase will run you more than $6.

but gears has received all 9.5's-10's in the reviews. It received to 10's, so this game is well worth the hype my friend. Go fantasize about the delaystation 3 or something, because i will be at home playing one of the best games ever and ONLY ON THE 360!!! And yeah everyone say GOW is the best looking game EVER, you hear that EVER!!! PC boys you better watch out.
There is a usb hard drive already available, I forget who makes it but I think it $50 US money. Plus you can use any usb hard drive but you will only be able to play videos and music on it.
And you won't get to play bioshock or mass effect because they are 360 exclusive, 2 more great games Ps3 fanboys will miss out on. Personally, I think bioshock will take the crown of most beautiful game ever from gears of war. Nothing on the PS3 comes close, no where near this quality of visuals.
