If anything, the prices will start rising again since there is no competition anymore. The only person that can force Sony to cut the price earlier than expected is Microsoft with their Xbox 360. The only down side is, Microsoft are in no position for a significant price cut.

Hope this is true. I really want the PSP flash 9 support and WMV. Those are my two most wanted features for the system.

Well if anything I'd say Microsoft because they were as far as to pay 50Mil to Rocstar to secure exclusive content for the game. Not only that, from what I hear, the game will be marketed heavily for the Xbox 360 and the average Joe who normally would not know what "DLC" is, can write a book about it after the advertisement.
With that said, Sony have Getway series. If they can turn the game around, and make it a better game, it would be right up there with GTAIV.

I think they reason why they chose Xbox 360 instead of PS3 is because of paying for licensing issues for PS3 is a bit high. The games will be a sure hit if they came here in the West but who knows.
