Man…. if Microsoft, Nintendo, or Sony did this they’d be burning money and lots of it. This is literally a Hail Mary by google. They are offering the whole farm but they are missing a huge part of why it still won’t be enough to save them. No players means there’s nobody to buy the games. Nobody buys the games and they still get none of the benefits.
If you ask me their only hope at this point is to
1) give the controller away free (basically the system) and try to go solel...
So let’s see. I got my series X and my PS5 both day one respectively. I’ll tell you this to start. Anyone that tries to put series X and PS5s next gen offerings as equal is clearly biased, or delusional. That MUST be said first. To discount the next gen titles on PS5 clearly points to an agenda. The ONLY next gen games on series X (as in next gen only) is Medium and Ori. Now look, I’ll tell you right now, Ori looks like a well polished indie game. Period. It’s not incredible, it’s not screami...
Let’s see… I would like
1) Elderscrolls: Morrowind level freedom
2) More interactive conversations. Like more outcomes, not just a skill check. Like BioWare kinda.
3)Actually fun gameplay. Elderscrolls gameplay is fun because of the combat elements and the restriction of the medieval genre. Yeah you have magic but big whoop. Guns are a different ball game. It’s not easy to nail gun gunplay…. Unless there’s no guns, despite the trailer, and it’s ...
I’m literally forced to buy every yu gi oh game Konami releases on Nintendo systems because I’m an addict. Never played the card game, but loved the cartoons up to 5Ds and played the games since duelist of the Roses.
Internet as a whole is better today than a few years ago but it’s no better or worse than PlayStation remote play in my experience and I called how it would be quality wise before it ever released. It’s a great idea, but the online infrastructure just isn’t widely available enough yet. The best games on remote play were turn based games like RPGs. If you’re on your home connection for example you could play almost anything on your phone IF your wifi was strong enough. For the most part though...
You know what’s funny? Even with “nobody” having a PS5, Ratchet managed to outsell everything and it’s only on PS5. I know I bought it day one, just like returnal before it. It’s a lot more PS5s in customers hands than it seems.
Will the rumors about Sony and Aksys/Arc System works come true? Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of “buy that compan E”
I LOVE SRW! Man I hope a new PS5 SRW is in the works or a PS4 one with PS5 upgrades. Isn’t the most graphically intense games but man they bring the geek out of a mf.
Same here. I’m thinking it’s gotta be;
A-time played. The more people spend on it the more you make.
Or B- If it’s By the download and/or if it’s played over X amount of time.
Oh this D&D game is looking though, I’m thinking it must be a lump sum to secure the day one launch on said system, THEN you go into the before mention payment schedule.
On PlayStation you just release your game like regular. No bonus or nothing guaranteed, ju...
Man… Microsoft must be giving a lot of money for this to be ok. So physical is basically all PlayStation, then the full priced online buyers get added in…. How much is Microsoft paying to offset that? Is game pass really giving money to devs that rival actual sales?
I think it WAS then Fortnite happened. It is a firm number 2 though.
Notice I never said dreams. I said MM which at that time was LBP2 or 3. Regardless, it failed. Reason I said MM is because project spark was “Just the beginning” according to them.
If Nintendo would spend some money and make a online MMO Pokémon game it would rule the world. Real time trading, training, becoming a gym leader and defending it, and working your way up to be a elite trainer and defending that. Man they could make some really awesome stuff if they embraced online. Instead of charging for a whole new single player experience they could charge for expansions. Even if you don’t buy you still don’t get locked out though. You just don’t see the new monsters...
Remember that creation game on Xbox that was supposed to compete with MM? I don’t remember the name but man did that fail.
It’s going to have to catch me on a 75% off sale which is crazy. I preordered and bought the $100 or more bundle. Got a refund and now I won’t buy the PS5 VER until it’s sub $30 and that’s IF I have nothing else to play. I am mentally past this game.
I was really interested in buying this and was going to get it Day one on PS5. Money in the bank for them. With the Bethesda acquisition though and it being timed exclusive I feel like why would I pay full price for it.1) I am sure that when it does come to Xbox it’ll be on gamepass. 2) Why get used to it on a controller that IF it gets a sequel it won’t be on that console. Again, might as well wait and play it on Xbox.
Eitherway Bethesda gets some of the money, that’s not what I’m s...
As a fighting game player I hope Arc system works rumors are true. Sony buys them and they own the top fighting game developer of the last maybe 10 years.
I still don’t care about crossplay. Call me crazy.
I’m watching my friend play through it on share play bit by bit. Guess I’ll just start playing on my own soon.
I could easily get one. Problem is that
1) I have the ultimate mobile device, my phone.
2) Before the switch I would have bit, but I found out that I am just too grown and busy to play mobile enough to make it worth it. I started playing my switch mobile 75%, docked 25% when it first came out and I was hammering through Zelda. Then it went to 80% docked. Now it’s 99% Docked. I’m paying for portability I won’t use.
3) I never look at reviews, but I need to see it ...
