Kids.
I know mine will love this.
But hey, I guess kids don't exist where you live or something.
Handheld mode isn't broken or anything. You can very clearly see the resolution downgrade in many places in the game, but it doesn't look horrible, and it doesn't break the game at all. And the HUD remains clear, in case that worried you.
Buy it with confidence if you like the Xenoblade games. It still looks decent on handheld mode, just not as good as docked, that's all. It's still a fun game to be able to play anywhere.
The Nintendo Seal of Quality was just a label that guaranteed that the game worked. Nothing more, nothing less. It had nothing to do with the game's actual quality.
This is crazy as hell. I didn't see it coming, and I'm willing to bet nobody did.
Anything is possible. Anyway, not long left now. We'll find out soon :)
If there's one site where HZD can actually win GOTY, it's this one. N4G's community is still mainly comprised of Sony fans, despite Nintendo's rising popularity this year.
Interesting. VR perhaps? Nintendo have some patents for the Switch sliding into a head mounted accesory after all.
What is BCB?
$40 for all versions? I thought they would charge full price for that, especially on the Switch.
Nice to be wrong! Switch version, here I come.
True, but nobody bought a Wii U except me and maybe you. :P
For everyone else, those are pretty much new games.
@AZRoboto
Wii U sold more than Dreamcast, actually. WIi U sold a bit more than 13 million, Dreamcast a bit more than 9 million.
Chances are he didn't even read it.
Dude, the Switch is a handheld by definition. Don't play silly.
I mean, I absolutely love my Switch, and I love playing it on the big TV and everything, but it's portable, you can hold it on your hand, you can conveniently take it with you anywhere you want... it's a handheld with awesome connectivity to TV.
Same. I felt like EVERYONE understood it and is hilarious because reasons, but I don't get it at all.
Glad to see I'm not so alone.
Man, all that hostility and bad language and unprovoked name calling. You would do better commenting on Youtube than here. :/
They don't need to be amazing at a game, but they at least need to be decent.
I don't think Nintendo has ever made any digital event that long. Not even for any E3, not even for the Switch's reveal in the january event last year.
30-45 minutes is more likely. One hour at most.
I know this is tongue in cheek, but the original Xbox didn'r really affect the Cube much, if at all. Both consoles actually had pretty similar sales in the end, with Xbox having a slight edge. It was just that the PS2 was way too damn popular and obliterated both consoles in sales... it went on to became the best selling console ever made, and that had a severe impact on the competition.
Depends on why. I suppose they nominated Horizon for best technology mainly because of the combat mechanics and the AI behavior of the robodinos, which are both really impressive. But on the other hand, Zelda's physics system is also amazing, so I believe any of the two could win the award and I would be fine either way.
...and the game. Which very likely costs 50 or 60 bucks by itself. Why do people keep ignoring this comes with software?
