Despite the hate that it got from a lot of people, I, for one, enjoyed the hell out of Metroid: Other M.
Yes, it's a given that Retro Studios would undoubtedly make another awesome Metroid game, but I wouldn't mind if Team Ninja had another go at Metroid and built upon Other M's strenghts (great gameplay, fun combat, superb graphics, smooth action), while addressing its flaws (awful voice acting, terrible narrative, extreme linearity).
LOL_WUT, just because a game is downloadable doesn't mean it can't be amazing (yup, I just used a double negative)!

Whoah. Although I love Wonderful 101, I can understand how this game doesn't hold the same appeal for everyone, but 5/10?
Preposterous. This game isn't anywhere close to being "mediocre". This review is nuts, and just a big disservice to the game and Platinum's efforts behind it.
Of course a Nintendo site will usually be biased in favor of Nintendo games. Same goes for Sony and Microsoft sites.
That isn't necessarily bad, though. There's a market audience for such websites, and they tend to be the most passionate fans of each brand. So there's a good chance that the Ninty fans that frequent Ninty websites will generally agree with the sentiments of said websites' staff.
I'm happy that Kung Fu Rabbit's sales on the eShop have been satisfactory so far for Neko Entertainment. It's a damn good title, with pretty polished gameplay, satisfying difficulty, cute graphics, and a very decent amount of content, and all of it only for $5. Which was already a pretty good price, and now it's only half that price.
I recommend it. It's like a Lite version of Super Meat Boy.

In addition to Pikmin, there's also Wonderful 101, which is loads of fun.
And New Super Mario Bros U, which is the best 2D Mario since Mario World.
And New Super Luigi U, which is a pretty good Mario U expansion.
And Lego City Undercover, which is a pretty fun sandbox game.
And Zombi U, which is a superb survival game and the game with the best Gamepad implementation to date.

What? The game does, in fact, tell you that you can buy stuff as soon as you clear the first stage. The Wonderful Mart opens, and it tells you to go take a look there.
