Despite, the many problems alot of people have with Gears of War, we can't deny that it was the "first" truly next-gen game. The original Gears of War provided the base for the best cover system in a TPS and Uncharted refined it and improved upon it. Without GeOW, who knows how Uncharted's cover system would have turned out.

Alpha-Male hit it right on the head. I doubt Killzone 3 will have all the features that Halo: Reach will have due to this very reason. If Killzone 3 ends up looking like that infamous 2005 CGI trailer, its going to be EXTREMELY difficult for GG to process everything twice.
I don't understand what obssession fanboys have for Halo: Reach to have "KZ2 level graphics" Why aren't we talking about the improvements made to the physics, animations, particle effects, new stealth mechanics, new sandbox gameplay, and 40 AI characters on screen at once?
Bungie has NEVER been a graphical powerhouse. Bungie has always been about delivering the most complete FPS package on consoles as far combining excellent gameplay and a multitude of great features....

Man, this an God of War 3 are gunna take over March! DICE deserves it too. The beta was the most entertaining FPS I've ever played. If KZ3 ends up having large scale destructibility, we'll know why :)

Im gunna be honest. I was watching Gametrailers last night and that 90 second GOW3 trailer made those 20 minutes of the episode devoted to Splinter Cell seem like last-gen stuff. Right now, the only 360 exclusive I want is Alan Wake.

Why would I wait in line when I could just have it delivered to me from Amazon from the comfort of my home? I believe on Amazon, God of War 3 is 3 bucks cheaper, you don't pay tax, and you get 10 bucks towards ur next Amazon game purchase.
