WOW. Thats the kind of mistake a parent would make, but a person working at a Bestbuy? Thats inexcusable. In the BestBuy in my area, everyone is EXTREMELY friendly and very informed about games. The beta is great, it fixed pretty much all the minor problems I disliked in Killzone 2. The game is more accessible which is a good thing, but its a little too easy to shoot someone from across the map. Besides that, I can live with the new controls. Its a little more COD like, it makes the game a lot faster than KZ2..and dare I say, more fun.

Yes! As soon as Black Ops came out, there has been a resurgence of BC2 players that are actually GOOD and KNOW how to work as a team. Right now, the teamplay is fantastic.

I've never owned a driving sim before, but this game looks great. Don't know if it will appeal to me though. I like games with tough learning curves...Warhawk is a great example, but I don't want a game thats on a Street Fighter 4 type learning curve. I'm planning on getting Hot Pursuit(I'm in love with the demo), but GT5's content and graphics are on a whole nother level.
The only thing that I think could turn me off of GT5 is that it may be too overw...

@Deathracer- Thats a silly comment. GT5 is bound to move a couple of consoles...it won't be a HUGE boost like the Sony cheerleaders on this site are saying it will be...but you have to be very uninformed to believe that GT5 won't offer a boost in PS3 console sales. I have friends who have been waiting for GT5 for years bro. Its the reason some of them got a PS3 in the first place.
Mm...well I personally don't think backwards compatibility is THAT big of a deal. I have it on my 60gb and I only use it for DOA: Hardcore. If i didn't have BC, I would have just bought a used copy of DOA 2 and played on my Dreamcast.

Well said. The PS3 and its games sell more in Japan for the same reason the 360 and its games sell more in the U.S....because it appeals to the audience more than the alternative console. Btw..has anyone played the demo of Raging Blast 2? If so, is it any good? I played Budokai 3 at a friends house one time and we had TONS of fun.
Microsoft is opening up their motion controller for other creative minds. In my book, thats fantastic. Id be great if they created a "Little Big Planet esque" Kinect game in which Kinect can be used to create unique things on screen.
@aviator189- I agree, but for all we know Microsoft have been planning something like this for a while. There probably working out the kinks as we speak. The potential is there, we just need to be patient. I remember back in 2007 when PS HOME was bare-bones. Now its faster, easier to use, and filled with tons of free content. Good things come to those who wait.

The Gamestop deals are horrible. I'm trying to score Hot Pursuit for around 30 bucks, but here their charging 50 bux for it. I guess I'll just wait till Cyber Monday, Amazon always has great deals.
@Queasy- Thanks for the info. The only problem is that my nearest K-Mart is a long way from home. I've never gone to a Black Friday event, but Gamestop was the likely choice for my first time since its just a couple blocks from my house.
I expect to be no part of it since it'll cost an arm and a leg. Same with the next Xbox. The PS3 still hasn't reached its FULL potentially yet IMO, so it has about 7-8 years left in it. After that, it'll be good ol' affordable portable 3D gaming with the Nintendo 3DSi Lite Advanced Alpha Omega Pocket lol.
