Yep, it was obviously a publicity stunt. Why else would Jaffe announce to all his twitter followers that he would be giving some random dude a PS3? Good news for the kid nonetheless. If Molyneux gave me a free 360 id...id...id proly sell it for more PS3 games to be honest...but free stuff is still cool :)

The standards for games when GT4 came out are different from the standards for games today.
For example, lets talk graphics. When GT4 came out, it was shocking how good it looked since the PS2 wasn't viewed as the "graphical powerhouse" of the last generation..the Xbox was.

Mm..this isn't every good publicity for the game. I'm about to read the review now. Hope they didn't make the same mistake IGN made. Gamesrader is very accurate with their reviews IMO.
EDIT: I'm reading it now. A ton reviews are saying the same thing about the jagged shadows and interface problems...I don't think this is a conspiracy.

How is Kinect overhyped? It performed exactly what it set out to do as far as controller free gaming is concerned. If you played it you would understand that, whether the games appeal to you or not.

Why does Sony care? Kinect isn't their problem. Its pretty obvious that Move's accuracy means that more genres of games can be applied to it...but that didn't stop me from enjoying Kinect at my local Bestbuy. Both are awesome in their own ways...don't understand the need to put the other down.

@darkcharizard- Call me crazy...but doesn't everyone have a different GOTY based on what they've played throughtout the year and what brought them the most enjoyment.
Right now, my GOTY is Bad Company 2...but by the end of the year, in might be NFS: Hot Pursuit. I still haven't gotten it yet, but I should be getting it either today(if Amazon drops the price again) or by Christmas. I LOVED the demo. Never played a demo for 5 hours straight before.

Don't mess up the PS3 version. I actually sold the game back because the graphics and textures were so washed out that I couldn't see when enemies were going to strike. Who knows maybe I just sucked at the game..but I'm pretty sure that the washed out graphics played a HUGE role.
If they gave the same care and attention to the PS3 version as they did with the 360 version, it would have been one of the best action games I've ever played.

lol at Twister7. So if GT5 gets an 80, that means it wasn't reviewed properly?? I'm noticing that people only hate on GT reviews that give it under a 9 or 10. If IGN had given GT5 a 9.5, NO ONE would have complained about the review despite the fact that they only played up to level 10.
Also, Yahoo, which gave GT5 a perfect score is praised...yet its the LEAST comprehensive GT5 review on the net. I've been saying it for years. Scores should be ELIMINATED from vide...

I don't think anyone here can deny that the car braking hard to avoid the parked car is unbelievably impressive. This is LEGIT stuff. I don't see how any logical person can disagree with that comparison. Its VERY heavy in Forza 3's favor.

Welcome to the real world Sony and implementing a feature that has been coming standard with today's most popular portable devices for years.
I like that they have the basics down, but its gunna take a lot more than touch controls to garner my buying interest.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Beginners are likely to crash a lot in the beggining, so if the full damage was available from the start..beginners would hardly win any races. Hmmm...the game is more accessible than I imagined.
Anger issues?
I'm happy playing "BF Lite", no way I'm getting BF3. Theres so much I haven't unlocked in BC2 yet and I like that the maps are smaller than than a full-fledged BF game. Bigger maps doesn't necessarily mean "better" maps. And I don't buy shooters every year. When I spend 60 bux on a good shooter...I expect it to have me covered for at least 2 years. BC2 is living up to that. I'm definetly getting BC3 though.
