The metal slug games are my favorite to play while waiting in line on my psp. Good old fashion arcade action.
It is rather sad. All the lawsuits limits innovation when it comes to creating new tech and inventions. But that's a entirely different rant...
The Kevin Butler character saved Sony's promotional ads and helped the public know what the PS3 was all about. That was Sony's saving grace during their toughest times and now they're axing KB over one tire commercial with the Wii in it? This a really sad and petty move by Sony.
It would be wise if Son...
Most companies these days forget that some people don't have an adequate connection/no connection to download demos. I like the old school demo approach with packing it with another game. It reminds me of how the first ZotE included a demo of MGS2. Good times.
This demo will solidify my decision on if I will purchase MGR, or not. I look forward to giving it a try when I purchase this long awaited collection.
I didn't have money to buy the full game when I was younger, but I remember playing the Tomba demo over and over again.
I received it as a gift recently and it's as fun as I remembered it to be. It's an excellent game that doesn't get the attention it deserves.
So it's a case of the new talent not being able surpass their predecessors. Seems as though Capcom is losing the talent that made them great in the past generations.
A 6 for Resident Evil 6. They weren't too harsh on it.
From all the info I've gathered about the game, it seems like they rushed it out to the public too soon. It needed a few more months of refinement.
It's good to know American Dragon is still in the game. Wrestlers niches change rather quickly these days, as well as their looks."No" is now the new "Yes" and Bryan Danielson's beard/hair-cut is considerably different. That's always an issue with these games that's hard to avoid due to the nature of the wrestling entertainment business.
Glad to see some people here appreciate good English voice acting. Usually when I read comments, English voice acting is bad by default and the Japanese VA's are held in high regards.
I can understand why people prefer the Japanese language when the content is related to Japanese culture, that makes sense to me. When anime/games with a Western influences are trashed for not speaking Japanese, that I have a problem with...unless the voice acting is really terrible. Cowboy ...
Judging from the reviews this game is a mixed bag. Some reviewers like it, some think it's slightly below/above average.
It's the best way to learn how to play and it's fun. Win/Win :)
Best way of breaking into the game industry is making a game.
*Easier said, than done.*
Bayonetta 2 is still possible to release on other systems. It would have to be called Bayonetta 2: Sigma or something like that and somehow differentiate itself. Much like how Batman Arkham City is getting the "Armored" Edition for the Wii U. So there's a work around that issue.
I watched the first arc and I'm half way through the second arc with Rei on Hulu. Maybe by the time I'm finished with the series I'll be ready to play the game. :)
I look forward to Cyberconnect2's Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game. It looks like it going to be fun.
Since I already own the first Fist of the Northstar game, I really don't see a reason to get the 2nd game considering all they added was a few more characters. I like Dynasty Warriors type games, but they have a trend of making at least 3 games in each series. So I'm just going to wait for the 3rd Fist of the Northstar game and see how that turns out.
Why?
Companies are so busy trying to "win" game conventions, they don't take things like "being close to finished" into consideration. Too much showboating, not enough product. So there's no reason to cryogenically freeze yourself in anticipation, for a game that may or may not come to fruition. I guess we shouldn't consider the games they show as promised. I learned that much from MML 3.
I don't think it's hypocrisy. I think he's just working with whoever will make the game be, what it's intended to be. Doesn't matter if it's Western or Eastern. Whoever can get the creators vision of the game made is what he's aiming for.
You want to know what's really the work of satan? On-disc DLC.
"Muhahahahah! They think they're paying for new downloadable content, but it's already on the disc! Muhahahah! >:D "
Seriously, video games are just an expression of creativity. No different than books, music, films and any other creative mediums. Creativity is ingrained in the fiber of our being and there's no denying that.
I often wonder what innovations Sega would've developed if they were still in the console business. I can see why the Dreamcast was their final console swansong. It was quite the innovative console machine.
The only issue I had with the Dreamcast was their choice in media disc. The GD-ROM was horrible. One insignificant, barely visible, spec of a scratch on the label side of the disc could corrupt the disc, making it unplayable.
It's good to see the ...
