That's like saying "Why Street Fighter II clones are doomed from the start." and yet here we are with Fatal Fury, KOF, Killer Instinct, Art of Fighting, World Heroes, Samurai Showdown, and so on.
It's like calling every game in a genre that didn't come first a clone and doomed to fail.
There's so much in that demo to try combat-wise I haven't even touched ZOE HD yet. I mainly got the collection for ZOE HD, but I didn't expect the demo would be so fun.
I don't consider the current look of the console hideous, but more like it was rushed and little thought went into it. If they made the console transparent like the controller that would be a improvement. Maybe add some LED lights to make it glow or something along those lines to make it look electric. That would be something I would expect.
Similar to this ps3 slim, but with a little more added to it.
Thank you! Bringing this to my attention is very much appreciated.
To me, the games always made the console and not the specs. Great gameplay and story telling doesn't require a graphically powerful system. Sure it's nice to have, but in the end the game can look good and play horribly. Heck, I still play my ps2 games along with my snes games.
This week I simply realized how many graphic whores are on N4G.
Can someone please explain to me what all the fuss is about?
That's some very good advice for future developers.
I really don't hate the game, as much as I hate what it's doing to gamers. Every time there's new information about this game, a separation between gamers happens with in the comments. I won't totally place the blame on gamers who like or dislike the game, but Capcom is seriously losing it to cause such a rift.
Capcom sees this controversy and revels in it as the gamers rip each other apart. I've was a huge Capcom fan growing up in the 80's/90's/ a...
Devil May Cry is a series that defined a genre. DmC is merely a game using the Devil May Cry moniker for attention. It's sad really. If this game had nothing to do with Devil May Cry and was a sequel/reboot of...lets say Dark Sector, everything would be fine.
"How would you like it, if people bash a game you wanted to buy and play. And they keep shoving reasons not to buy it."
If they had valid reasons (which are available), I would thank them for saving me $60 dollars.
I just played the demo that came with Zone of the Enders HD Collection. I'm buying this game.
How many of you have actually played, or own a Wii U to be able to make the statements you are making? How many of you are just going by hearsay?
I got 54 gameplay hours out of Sleeping Dogs, so it's definitely a sandbox game to check out. There's a few movie references in the game to.
I've already signed. Shenmue must continue in anyway possible.
It looks like Segata Sanshiro is already over 1,750!!!
I'm currently watching Hokuto No Ken 2 on hulu *hints my avatar*. The game feels really sluggish and would be better if it had the same variety that Sengoku Basara 3 gives to the player. The game gets the signature moves right and that happens to be the best part of the game. Everything between getting the signature moves feels like a chore. I just hope they improved the basic gameplay in Ken's Rage 2.
Ken's Rage just feels too slow. It feels like the characters have anchors on there arms and legs. It's not a bad game but I wish it was more like Sengoku Basura 3.
It's very hard for me to believe anything they say anymore.
I agree tayz. I can only recommend the HD collection for people who don't own the game already. Since there's no online fighting mode you're only really paying for a HD spit shine if you already own the original Ps2 copies.
There's no excuse not to put an online mode in a Fighting game these days. Namco/Bandai really dropped the ball for Dragon Ball Z games lately. I was ready to buy this collection for the online alone.
I was wondering the same thing. I will give him credit for great punctuation and grammar. He also makes nicely sized paragraphs, which makes it easy on the eyes. I give him an A+. =)
On topic, I can work with 720p. I'm not going to dismiss a good game because of it's resolution. Although, I expect them to get more out of their hardware as they progress into the future.
Indeed. Very helpful information. :)
