I'm not taking any sides, but this type of behavior from anyone in the gaming industry, or journalism, (I use that term loosely when speaking of Kotaku) does not reflect well on the gaming industry as a whole.
Why should this type of behavior be acceptable in the gaming industry?

I was wondering if Valve approved the GLaDOS' voice to be in the movie and now I know. The giant mechs fighting monsters was enough for me, but adding GLaDOS voices was a cherry on top. This is definitely a movie I'm watching this year.
The design of Dante in DMC4 is very much like a wild west design. With the updated visual they could add more details to the character model. Leather just happens to look really good visually when it comes to design and patterns. Dante has always been like the sheriff, cleaning the town from demon varmints. He has a lead guitarist in a band vibe to him and knows how to put on a show.
To me, DMC4 Dante was in his prime. Not as flashy as DMC3 Dante and not as cold as DMC2 Dante...

A common word used towards people with common sense.
We are all Gamers, but we are all consumers as well. You can resell books, dvds, cds, and clothes, but games are off limits? Why? It's nothing but greed, that's why. If they can spend $100 million dollars just on advertising a game, they're not hurting for money.
I have several hundred games spanning all the way back to the late 1980's to the current 2000's. If these companies want to focus on the best interest of their bank accounts besides their customer, then that's it for me. I don't stick around for nonsense when I have PLENTY of games to play from past gens to keep me entertained.
With DRM, DLC, on disc DLC, immature game companies treating customers like crap, games companies bribing game reviews, game companies...
Why would I support a company who does nothing but encourage this war between the Devil May Cry fan base? It's absolutely disgusting that they would pit gamers against each other to promote a game.
Soon, I will never have to hear about this game again. DmC has had such a detrimental effect on the gaming community, it will be a relief when it's finally out for all these arguments can be put to rest.

I'm okay with the exclusion of Budokai 2, but I feel like they could have added Dragon Ball Z Infinite World to fill in the gap. I know it's not a Budokai game by name, but they could have remedied that by calling it a "Bonus HD Game!" or something similar to that.
Adding online versus matches would boosted the interest in the game due to the competitive nature of fighting games.

That's true, but have ever played a game you enjoyed with a few glitches in it? I'm not talking about game breaking glitches but amusing ones like seeing a flying pig or something like that. Glitches may happen, but they don't ultimately stop a good game from being enjoyable. It may take you out of it for a moment, but it's easy to get back in it if the games is not consistently riddled with bugs.
A developer can have all the time and money in the world to create a game and still end up failing if there's no clear vision of what the game needs to be.
Fine details are good, but the overall project of what is accomplished is what matters. Because in the end there are games that take you on an experience and games you just play through, to get through.
I miss unlocking things during the play through of the game.
