They also kind of undercut Forza Horizon's run but I see why they did it. Xbox launched with Halo 20 years ago. The original goal was to launch the system with the game just like the original XBox. That didn't work out. It was nice symmetrical way of celebrating. Horizon is good enough it will continue to thrive and grow. If Battlefield is good enough so will it.

Makes sense the Series S is easier to make with a smaller Dye and therefore easier to find. Just got one for my little sister for Christmas. They were kind of ahead of the curb with this one. My younger brothers girlfriend bought him one too. That price point coupled with the value of GamePass plus the fact that most TV's are still 1080p. Seeing how Forza Horizon and other games look on it it's a pretty neat little machine.
History has shown that most of the time these things are caused by a publisher wanting to rush a game out for quarterly earnings. A tale as old as time.

The day their competitor releases an easy to access means for anyone to play their games on nearly any device. As simple as a cell phone a Bluetooth controller and a GamePass subscription. This will be interesting.

Remakes and Remasters are 2 very different things. Reimagining a classic for modern times is in itself an art. RE2, FF7 and Demons Souls have been some of the best games of the last couple years. Keep the remakes coming. Most remasters come off like cheap cash ins. FF8 Remastered did a good job as a remaster. The Arkham trilogy, THQ Nordic games etc are cheap cash ins. If it’s done well it’s welcome.

I played it on PSP with a Sega Emulator that had the CD plug in. Same place I played Night Trap, Sonic CD and Amazing Spider-Man vs Kingpin. You can also play a fan subtitled version of Policenauts his follow up on there.

Man I would love it if they remade this series. Sam Lake has mentioned regretting killing so many of the characters prematurely because he didn't realize the series would have the life it did.
