This is a pretty fair article. It makes it clear that Sony’s biggest problem is supply constraint. That Xbox’s biggest strength is the double SKU and the ability to produce 2 series S for every X. The S was a very smart move. I bought one for my little sister and one for my little brother and had no problem getting either.

Yep. Honestly it’s going to push the whole industry forward coming out with features that are long overdue. If this was usable on PC I would be a 100% day one buy. Given Sonys history of barely supporting their hardware on PC I’m down to like a 75%.
A lot of people particularly in the PC space are opting for 1440P or 2K. The bump in resolution is very overrated compared to a buttery smooth frame rate.
That system is as common as a Unicorn. They barely produce it because they take such a loss on it. It seems to only Exist to market a price point. The way things are going barring a redesign with a smaller dye (which has been talked about) it will be almost impossible to find. with PS5’s barely ever spotted in the wild and with the chip shortage it will be years before they are commonly found on shelves.
The most interesting thing about this article isn't that it's middling. There is always an outlier. The most interesting thing to me is that just out of curiosity I go look at the comments history of the person who submitted it. It's a middling review for Halo, and it was posted by someone who almost exclusively only ever talks about Playstation. What are the odds?
