By no means am I an Xbot, but does anyone in here honestly think that Halo 3 isn't going to get GOTY? Even if they took Barbie's Super Mall Adventure, slapped Master Chief in there, it would still be one of the "best games ever." My point is that sometimes you just can't get past hype, especially in a 360 leading market.

I would glady put my PS3 against your 360 any day. Besides, your analogy is a bit off. Its more like this. Jim and Sam decide to race. However, Jim doesn't know how to drive a stick. Sam has been driving a while longer and knows his car down to the last bolt. The first race Sam wins of course. Jim spends the next year or two gaining experiance and learning how to drive. Within two or three years Jim completely blows Sam away.

Of course you can't see time, that was never the point of this article. The point is that you will be able to see the realistic effects of time. "It merely simulates time" uh....duh?! Everything in a video game is simulated if you break it down like you do. The point is to simulate time to make it look as realistic to a 3 dimensional world as possible. If you accept that current games are 3 dimensional then please spare us your bs and accept that a simulated 4th dimension is accept...

I believe Microsoft said ALL games would be able to be played on ANY version of the 360. Not just some games, but ALL games. With comments like that coming from Microsoft themselves, wouldn't that seem a little misleading to those who wanted the cheaper version? Virtually everyone who owns a 360 went on and on and on about how the KZ2 teaser trailer was CG. A month or two ago one of the Halo 3 developers tells everyone that their teaser trailer was using the "in-game engine." Guess what? No rabbles. Anywhere.
Aside from gaming double standards, I'm not expecting this game to be that great. Most of the team that developed Halo 2 and now Halo 3 were not a part of the original and best Halo. Thats why I think (notice the word think)...

Seriously though, both Gears and KZ2 are not vibrant in color, but I like it like that. Urban landscapes usually don't have a variety of colors. What do you want them to do, make some of the concrete blue and green?
Besides the fact that the original team is no longer developing the new Halo, there is nothing innovative about the game. Halo has been drained of originality. Three years of development on a next-gen system and the most they can offer is half-***ed graphics and some new grenades.
