And once again the almighty and glorious Bladestar shares with us his eternal wisdom.
Monopolies are, well, illegal. Microsoft is helping Apple in order to keep them up in the computer market. The only reason they are doing this is so Microsoft doesn't have to split.
Is if they truly want to lose even more money and want to replace their BoD and the lovable Steve Ballmer.
I know they are a mega-billion dollar corporation, but that only goes so far. They have yet to turn a profit with the 360 (it was announced to all shareholders) and I'm sure the Board of Directors will be looking after their a**es. Also, not to be a troll, but what were the failure rates, like 30%? I think they've dropped, but thats still almost 1/3 of their total products that they will have to replace in the future. Point is, Microsoft, at this period in time, would surprise me with a price...
He looks like a freaking power ranger lol
I'm gunna post a fake video of a PS3 v. 360 comparison, but use only the 360 version for both sides. My estimate? Marty-boy and Power of Green (funny its the same color as money) will still say that one is "slightly washed out and fuzzy."
Jp, but the price cut should boost sales this holiday season. I just got up so I can't remember straight, was 399 the starting price for 360 or was it 350?
Not as long as you have to wait for the 360 even if the game is delayed.
You have a lead designer who is actually working with the game telling you that the game, even if delayed, will still be out on PS3 by the end of 2007. On the other hand you have a CEO who's only concern is in the interest of his companies stakeholders and probably does not know much about the game. Point is, believe who you want man.
I wont take you seriously until you can spell pressure p-r-e-s-s-u-r-e. Even then it is still, at this moment, NOT delayed. Try to smear it all you want bladestar, you'll just sound ignorant.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I didn't wait for the price cut.
Too funny. Microsoft spent probably millions acquiring Bungie and now the team is quiting. Its like buying a sandwich and having all the insides fall out onto the ground. Doesn't taste satisfying anymore and is no longer a desired item. It looks like MC won't be rearing his Spartan a** for many years to come (this time it might be on the PS3 as well).
Not gunna say anything, but I'm sure some people could have guess what I was going to say anyways.
65 - So Sad
Besides the fact that the original team is no longer developing the new Halo, there is nothing innovative about the game. Halo has been drained of originality. Three years of development on a next-gen system and the most they can offer is half-***ed graphics and some new grenades.
They even finished the game 3 months early and instead of taking the time to polish and add, they stopped. Why you ask? Because this game is automatically a platinum hit. Why would ...
I'm surprised you made it through, what is it, like 6 hours of campaign story mode without your system blowing up.
Hell, Gamestops in my area didn't even stock Warhawk. Four might be a little exaggerated, but ten or so sounds more like it.
So you and a few others on here are telling me that the more a game sells the better it becomes? Wow. I wonder how great Mary-Kate and Ashley's Super Mall Adventure would have been if it sold 5 million. Hell, according to you it would be as good as Halo 1, right?
So if a game has more logged matches it automatically means its better. Remember friends I'll take quality over quantity any day.
If graphics aren't important then their would be no need to release new consoles would there? Sure it allows for a little more gameplay elements, but graphics has always driven consoles.
But Microsoft is loosing money one the 360. Thats the price for an extended warranty and an early price cut. Sony can handle it only because of the still moving PS2 and PSP sales. Financially, Microsoft is indeed, in the mud.
