Hardware increase all around from those dismal numbers last week. PSP doing well as usual.

At the end of the day, it's all about the games. All games are made on the PC but if the games I like are not playable on the PC then that is a big problem, not to talk of multiplatform titles like the new Street Fighter AE on PC.

Why does the war end when a new console is out. If people are still buying it then the war isn't over. It's only done and dusted when production is stopped unless there's a clear winner like the ps2,ps1 or ds.

You never know. Since this gen started the ps2 has sold 48.9 million. Thats almost the same amount that the ps3 has sold and there expecting to sell another 4 million this financial year.
Yes the Wii is 36 million units ahead but it's declining and with the Cafe coming out and declining support it's only going to get less. NPD results should let us know what effect the current price drop had but I don't think it would have the PS2 legs, even when it reaches $100? ...

Street Fighter 4 didn't get new characters till super a year later and i don't remember the complaints back then.Maybe it's because we weren't expecting new characters then but ever since capcom started milking new editions and dlc people are now complaining that we don't have new characters when the game has only been out for what 3 months.
I rather we get a bunch of characters in one go like in super or AE than to have to pay individually for new charact...
Sony also said the NGP or Vita won't cost them a lot of money but from the specs we can see it's no slouch. Let's just wait and see.
