Well the press release does say PSP classics and Blockbuster titles so i won't expect more than 10 titles and I won't expect new titles either.
This was announced 7 years after they released the PSP and you've assumed it would happen straight after the NGP comes out.
What about the NGP games that require use of the rear pad, touch screen or accelerometer and other features? How are they going to get ported?

Good idea, HD remakes for the PSP. I won't be too excited though yet, I doubt we we will see new games like Type-0 or duodecim but Crisis core with HD and trophy support please.
This is not talking about the store. Japan hasn't had PSN as a whole online even tho everywhere else got it a week ago.
This game has been in development since before they had money problems and in the video posted in another article, there were random battles.
I do agree on it looking beter than XIII. i like XIII but this blows it away from what I've seen so far.
Battle system looks so good especially the boss fight with the behemoth at the end. Looks better than turn based battles to me. It looks like you can control different characters and also looks more realistic.
The prelude represents the franchise as a whole. It's not just from FFVII. Also this was shown right after a Dissidia tournament.

It could happen. If i remember correctly 3DS has sold the most this year in Japan but PSP is catching up everyweek. 3DS does have Zelda but also the PSP has all these titles that we over here haven't even heard of.
FF Type-0 is going to be massive as well so we will have to see. also a price drop would influence how it does as well.
I think this would be more mature. Never seen so much blood in an FF game and going from what the devs have said it is not your usual FF.

Would be good if they can work on the tablets Sony just released but i'm not sure about it on the PSP/NGP but hey i'm not complaining about additional functionalities.
The PSP has a tv out cable as well so i can sort of see it working.
Can't wait for the NGP.
