XV will probably be Versus. I doubt SE want to make another game with the number XIII after seeing XIII-2's sales today.
As for it being a multiplatform, I can see that happening as well unfortunately.

3 Hours and 47 minutes on full power and sound. Very good considering how much more powerful it is.

Also a couple of users from Neogaf did tests of their own and got 4:29 playing UMvC3 and 7:41 for watching a movie so defintely good news.

To be fair Kotaku has covered the launch more than any other site i've seen but it seems only the negative articles are popping up here.
Of course it's not sold out they shipped an extra 200K so there wouldn't be shortages because the amount available for pre-order was sold out.
Also It's only been out for 3 days but articles like this will try to paint a gloom picture.
They only shipped 700K and don't forget it only came out on Saturday so only 2 days worth of sales.
I'll be happy with 500K which will show that the people in Japan truly thought it was worth the price.

BTW this is a preview not a review.
It works but the game needs a patch for it to work so going forwards you can expect most games to work with remote play but as for previous games who knows.
If you mean remote play then yes it works but the game will need to be patched for the feature to work on the Vita so right out of the gate there won't be many games you can play through remote play but it will pick up.
However PS1 and PSN games all work straight away.
How are the controls, the aiming with the analog and the gyro?

I checked Amazon and it's still only available for preorder at the moment while America is getting sales everywhere
3DS is a beast but it has the most favourable conditions in this chart, Monster Hunter, 2 Mario, cheaper price and 7 days worth of sales.
Vita did well but the following weeks is what counts. Sony needs to make sure the ratio of 3g to wifi versions is correct and not try to force the 3g to consumers.
