I like that they added Welcome Park and suprised that it actually has games not just tutorials.
It's looking like i'll be playing around with the OS for a while before i even touch a game.

I know US don't have the 20% percent sales tax and the memory card should be cheap to post since its small so it might be an option to import from the US even though the wait for it may be unbearable
Somr people felt burnt by FFXIII so there going to wait out and see how good XIII-2 is or not even bother which is why the sales are low.
Also FF sequels never have the same excitement as the prequel when they release so you can't really expect them to get close straight away to the sales of the prequel

Why deprive us of this and I'm sure the game will have done better if it was at retail as well. This and the trophy situation has made me annoyed these past few days.
It was £27 when i pre-ordered it on Amazon couple dats ago and it's the only expensive one out of the Vita games currently. The rest are much cheaper so i don't know if it's a mistake or something but no way it will cost more than Uncharted 3 at launch.

Yea it would all count towards your total trophy level but you won't see the PSV trophies.
From what i've read this will be fixed after the PSV is available worldwide and i can't see why not so hopefully it's true and not just a rumour.
Half a million for the first week is small for a console FF game in Japan. FF games are usually 1 million+ sellers, even X-2 did 1.5 mmillion in it's first week which was 400K less than X while XIII-2 sold a million less than XIII.
Monster Hunter + 2 Mario + Holiday boost and a cheaper handheld + 7 days worth of sales gives the 3DS a much bigger advantage to be fair.
Still It's mainly about MH and wherever it goes the fans go.

You just seemed to ignore what i said. If it was ALL about install base then the final fantasy's on the DS would have sold way more than that on the PSP considering that piracy is worse on the PSP and it's userbase is over double of the PSP's.
Your bringing out XBox but we all know it's non existant in Japan. In America where the 360 has a 12 million Unit lead in console sales, why did the PS3 version sell more than the 360 if it's ALL about install base. ...
It has been a bad spell but not one SE can't come back from. A lot of the complaints i see is about Versus not coming out which shows it's still an highly anticipated game. If the franchise was damaged beyond repair then no one would care for Versus or Type-0. They have the talent but they really messed up this gen.
From what we've seen and heard both Versus and Type-0 do not make the same mistakes that XIII did and they look much better overall.

Install base doesn't really apply. The PSP spin-offs have sold more than the DS Spin-offs and there are a lot more DS's in Japan than PSP's.
The sales of mainline FF games are a lot more than the spin-offs. None of the spin-offs on the PSP have broken the 1 million barrier in Japan while FFXIII did 1.5 million in one week with a smaller userbase.
500K is not huge IMO.Type-0 which is a spin off sold 50K less than the sequel to a main FF. Shows how good Type-0 did and how bad XIII-2 did.

Also it will be good if you finally get to sync all your vita trophies and watch yout trophy level and count shoot up
As far as I know that's only been confirmed for Japan and it's an option.
Also you can go the subscription route if you don't want to pay as you go.
