Atleast Metroid fans are still getting games. Try being a Legend of dragoon or Dark cloud fan.
Funny, i beat The End in about 5 mins my first try and without any trouble. Maybe i was just lucky.
@GentlemenRUs:
If i were to create a Mario kart clone and release it under the title "The real driving/racing simulator", would that make it a sim? Exactly.
You clearly do not understand either game engines/development or Kickstarter.
Just because the engine is 5 years old, doesn't mean it cannot look modern, game engines are heavily scalable by nature, 2 games made on the same engine are capable of looking completely different.
Kickstarter isn't the end all for funding, it is mostly just to check the demand for a concept, once a developer meets their kickstarter goal, the project is passed on to a publis...
@clmstr:
Bifocals have a cracked lense or really just that retarded?
Neither GT5 or 6 comes remotely close to PCars as far as visuals are concerned. Even the PS4 would choke on the PC version on PCars maxed out.
PCars is not an arcade racer lol, GT is closer to arcade than PCars is.
Why is this Humblebundle hidden and only accessable with a link?
@jb1rd90:
Knocking by politely stating facts? Interesting.
Learn to spell, you would have much more credability if you didn't appear to be about 10yo.
@GamingTruth: #7.1.1
Put your bifocals back on, you are making yourself look really bad.
The £500 system in this article was atleast matching the PS4 in every test, and usually doing better. £650 would completely destroy the PS4. The PS4 is definately very good value for £350 though.
@Lulz_Boat:
Wow you have that many fingers on a single hand? what a freak lol.
Crysis 1 maxed out on PCs still looks better than anything on the PS3 by far. Crysis 3, Metro 2033, Metro last light, Battlefield 3, Project Cars in its pre-pre alpha 2 years ago looks better, the list is miles long if you pay attention.
PCs are far beyond the PS4 for share functionality, they can do all of it and alot more. Consoles are only just catching up with what has been standard on PCs for atleast a decade.
The exclusives argument works both ways.
It is impossible to prove or disprove a "probably". it is hardly more than an opinion.
claiming that anyone who disagrees just knows it is true, is nothing more than fanboy damage control, you clearly cannot handle anyone disagreeing with your opinion, so you say illogical things like that to make yourself feel better.
@Section8:
My math skills aren't what need work lol, your common sense needs work.
7 years of PS plus is $350, the games are loaners, as soon as you stop paying for PS plus, you loose access to all those "Free" games, so to pretend as if the $50 per month is for the games, is completely illogical. Also yes you do get free games on Steam, i just got Left 4 Dead 2 for free a couple months ago and i didn't even need to pay for a monthly sub on ...
That is actually a misconception, Consoles are only cheaper in the short term. Between free online and cheaper games, PCs become cheaper in the long run.
Statistically last gen, the average console gamer had around 55-60 games, at $10 cheaper per game that is $550-600 in savings, plus another $50 in online services.
Console - $400
55 games - $3300
7 years of PSN/XBL - $350
total - $4050
PC - $800
55 games - $27...
For me personally,
#1 SNES
#2 PS1
#3 PS2
RPGs have always been my favorite games and nothing comes close to the SNES for RPGs. FFIV, FFV, FFVI, Chrono trigger, Secret of Mana, Mario RPG, Lufia 1&2, Illusions of Gaia, Secret of Evermore, Earthbound, the list goes on and on.
PS1 also has some of my favorites, FFVII, VIII, IX, Legend of dragoon, DQ7, Grandia. Then top it off with MGS, GT2, Crash, Duke, Parasite Eve, Resi. So...
@MightyNoX:
GT was never canon to begin with, the mangas ended with Z and Akira Toriyama wasn't involved in its production.
From your own link.
"The firing of the gunblade's rounds induces a tremor in the blade"
So the gunblade does fire bullets, it just doesn't use them directly in the attack, rather it uses the vibrations from the recoil to enhance the blade damage. Still firing bullets though.
Where did you come up with that "fact"? based on all the text in game and the sound/visual effects during combat, it very much shoots bullets.
As KingDad said, if it was truly due to the canadian dollar being down, games would have been $49.99 2 years ago when our dollar was worth 10 cents more. Publishers are just using this as an excuse to further gouge people on game prices. Hopefully nobody buys any of these games, the developers and publishers can burn in hell.
Games were already severely overpriced as it was, the Canadian government needs to step in and put a federal ban on charging more than $39.99 for any g...
err... wow, does that thing come with a kickstand?
