People forget or just dumb enough to realize that splatoon is a shooter game. game on this genre have kept the same formula or just minor change example they all have the standard PvP mode which in case of splatoon is the turf war and kept the same mode that loved by fan over the year just look at every new COD release have zombie mode ever since the nazi zombies appeared on COD world at war.

What do you all expect then? it's a shooter at it's core. changing formula too much on shooter, fighting game and sports you will get huge backlash from raging fans that why most shooter or fighting game from any devs kept the same formula or just have only minor change every iteration.
Maybe Konami happy with bomberman sales on switch the series in japan got 57k sales and still have some leg in it. it's the best the series has seen since 1998.
yeah maybe stronger on paper but Ipad does have IOS overhead and stupid file size limitation on their apps which can only have maximum of 4GB because of that it can't run modern game or last gen game that have over 4GB.
If you said paid review then all the game that got a great score also a paid one, because paid review argument only made possible if review sites must had no integrity to begin with. In this imaginary scenario Zelda wouldn't had been the first game to pay to get higher reviews . It is safe to assume that Horizon,Uncharted, Halo, Last of Us, Witcher 3 etc all had paid reviews including your beloved game:).

Those specs actually enough to run modern games it just matter of 3rd party want to port it, or the general consumer do not mind with low setting since Intel HD 520 wich weaker than Tegra X1 can run many modern games at 720p low setting and at least playable.

still underwhelming thought considering the Tflops difference betwen GTX 1060 and RX 480 is almost 30% with around 50 GB/s bandwith and 2 GB more than GTX 1060, RX 480 can only manage to beat by 6% average-_-a.

Well the NX probably will have more Japanese dev support than we expect mostly came from PSP/Vita dev that will probably jump ship into NX handheld since it's unlikely that Sony will release PSVita successor that will force them either to goes full mobile or support the NX handheld. If the rumor of NX is Shared platform is true then yes the NX Console obviously will have more support than Wii U since we can probably play NX handheld game on console at least from Japanese dev.

She talk about "Raw Power" not "Real World Performance" she said NX using very modern chip and maybe an industry leading chip that in raw number it maybe close to xbone but the real performance may outperform even a PS4.
