Actually I have read the book, and it's when you play Assassin's Creed 2 that you get to realize the similarities. I don't know, to me it feels like the fans have been manipulated into bullying this guy and now he has no choice but turn around and eat his pride, because it's not worth fighting not just a big corporation, but all the hate from immature people. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
If you would take the time to look closer at what the original proposal for the game was, including the behavior of the character and the studios response to the feedback from fans of the series, then you would see that the changes made are more than just cosmetic. Now if your aim was just to seem intelligent and glorious by using personal attacks, the keep it up, you doing a good job.
The difference in Hd levels, like 720 and 1080, depends also on the size of the screen.For example, a 30" tv with 720 would look HD level, and if you put the same size tv, but on 1080, your eyes will most likely never see the difference. Now if you do the same thing on any TV 45" and up, the difference would be super obvious. Now on the PSV screen it is the same thing, so for that size screen the game is on HD, and probably looks sharper than the original game looked on a big screen...
Its funny that people at beginning were angry at those of us that hated what they were doing with Dante because he looked way too emo, and other things, but look at it now!
