Yes, but this time Nintendo actually listened and got it right . Not only that, they did it with nobody expecting anything from them, which increased the surprise factor and made it a bigger Win for them, Something that both $ony and M$ failed at, since they both were releasing news of stuff just days before E3, making almost everything they showed feel like old news.

If there wasn't piracy then developers would spend more time making good games and less worrying about security and protection. If there was no piracy we would have LAN party on Starcraft 2, and Battle.Net wouldn't be the pain it is right now. Piracy not only hurts the developers but also steals from us gamers in the end..

Had things that were very close to what you just said, of course it also had a lot of unreal stuff, but in essence the mechanics were very realistic.

I do play it still, don't get me wrong, what I'm saying is that by now everyone is used to the way the game is and knows how to deal with each situation, and to change it at this time would kinda give it an odd feeling. Remember World of Warcraft? PC is not only big in Asia, is big all over the world. Consoles are way overpriced in other countries, so pc is the way to go because black market parts are cheap to get to build your own pc. Just to give you an example I wasin Mexico last year and an xbox 360 was 500 dollars over there.
The game requires you to connect to Battle.net to even play campaign mode, so piracy, at least on the first few weeks, is very unlikely. Never under estimate those hackers tho, they broke a console (360) so I would expect anything from them..
It would be like Konami making another Metal Gear with Snake on the lead role.. Might as well call it Metal Gear Geriatric.. lol
I think the COD franchise would outsell Reach because its multiplatform, which gives it a much bigger market. And it's a shooter so it's on the same category.

If people feel the way they do about activision is because of the decisions that company has made. They are putting bad standards on the whole gaming business and if we gamers just accept it and not make our voices heard by not giving them our money then it's just gonna get worse all over the place.

Maybe you should check what kind of technology both have to offer, not because you are buying either, but to see in your own opinion which one has a better product.
