As far as I'm concerned, the race is between the 360 and PS3. The Wii is a totally different product, with a totally different market, with totally different games.
It's like saying, "Which company will sell more bikes, Yamaha, Harley Davidson, or Trek?" Well just because Trek (a mountain bike) has 2 wheels like the others doesn't mean they deserve to be in the same conversation, right?
you see everyone's true colors come out in threads like this.
Stick to acting buddy. PS3 has been consistently outselling the 360 since the PS3 Slim launch, even at times outselling the Wii. PS3 exclusives have been selling very well, and the trend is only continuing.
However, he is right that "interactive games" if you will, are a niche genre that has proved can do very well for the PS3. With the success of Heavy Rain, it's only common sense that there has to be similar titles on the way, and I for one can't wait.
I hate racing games, but Twisted Metal has always had a place in my heart. I'm sure nothing will release this year however, a new TM game would be c0ckblocking GT and Mod Nation Racers. I think it will be a 2011 release.
Yup. I believe for $29.99 you can buy it on PSN. It is divided into 5 parts, with each chapter releasing at 1 month intervals.
I think this CEO is realizing that now that they are going multi-plat they now have to actually come up with a good single player experience, and it's tough for them to do that lol. PC gamers let Crysis slide BIG TIME because of it's superior graphics, but console gamers won't do that. If the game isn't fun and engaging it WILL fail on the console, and I think that upsets Crytek a bit.
Yes, we all know you can make a pretty game with awesome physics, but sorry guys, that's not ...
They ask for respect...yet they now climb in bed with EA!!! The only company out there that nickel and dimes it's customers more than Activision? Not such a great move imo.
You've never been in a lawsuit before, have you? Activision is not planning on paying anyone any royalties. The best chance anyone has of getting any money is by jumping ship NOW and filing a class action lawsuit for those royalties which should have been paid long ago. By the looks of it, that's what's happening.
PSP games seem like toned down PS3 games. If I wanted a PS3 game I'll just get it for my PS3. DS games seem more original and the 2 screens and bottom touch screen add a more innovative feel.
Is that a red bong by the wall?
Late to the party are we? It was announced a "timed" exclusive at last year's E3.
So what video games were to blame for all the atrocities in WWII or the Vietnam War? Or any other war for that matter.
This is war people, and its a sad fact that the people involved in wars develop a different mindset from other people. Come on, we ask 18 and 19 year olds to go and kill people, and then we're shocked when they do?
Anyways, like I said, the atrocities that go on today are a mere shadow of what has happened in our history and if anything we should...
You sure about that? I'm not so sure. How about places like Chuck E. Cheese or Golf & Stuff where kids buy items with tickets won on game machines? There's no dollar value on those that I'm aware of.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's just a thought on my part.
Here we go with you little Sony fanboys eh? God forbid anyone says anything bad about Sony. Just so you know, I'm more of a PS3 gamer than either one of you ever will be. Here's my trophies to prove it: http://us.playstation.com/p...
Next time you run your mouths, have something to back it up. Now, on topic. I have .18 in my wallet right now. How do you suppose I'll ever use ...
Do you guys notice how you can only add money in whole dollar amounts ($5, $20, $50, etc) but everything in the PSN store is $_.99 ($2.99, $3.99. $9.99, etc)? So when exactly do we get this money back? What happens to it if we stop using the account permanently? Why not just make everything a whole dollar amount...it's a scam! These pennies add up people.
Lol, true. The worst crowd imo are the so-called "hardcore PC gamers". Those guys are pathetic. The "hardcore shooter" guys also annoy me, but never more than the "hardcore PC gamers".
I wonder if the removal of the "other OS" will free up some RAM. I imagine there was some RAM reserved for the "other OS" feature, so if this is so then I'll be real happy.
LBP here I come. I've been waiting for a price drop to pick this up.
Exactly what I was thinking. Quantic Dream already deemed Heavy Rain a success with under 1 million sold, and I don't see Heavenly Sword costing more than Heavy Rain.
1. Alan Wake
2. Mass Effect 2
In that order. Also, that new game 2K Marin is working on looks epic.
Halo, GeOW, Fable, L4D and SC:C have never interested me in the slightest.
