For a gaming PC, if you buy one today with all new hardware, it's completely worthless in a year and need to be updated. Too expensive to update all the time just to get graphics that are barely better then consoles that came out 5-6 years ago.
Also, controls are only better for FPS.
They never said it was a trilogy to begin with. Also, the treasure Drake hunt in each game is based on a real life myth and El Dorado, Shambala and whatever it is he is looking for in Uncharted 3 are just 3 of the many myths we have.
Actually, while everything on that list is true, this has always been the case. What is noticable is the exclusives.
There are so many exclusives coming out or planned for 2011, it's just insane.

Well, Sony is going way too far in their legal actions. I have nothing against sueing pirates, but they're sueing Geohot and Graf_Chokolo, two persons who didn't even enable piracy in the first place.
Geohot made sure his firmware couldn't be used to pirate games. Sony, if you want to sue someone, don,t sue someone innocent, sue the person who actually enabled piracy.
