Not really. I bet in a couple years a ton of devs are gonna ditch xbox and just develop for pc and ps5 so they don't have to worry about the S.
I tried that s few times and it always sells out within a min or so.
Not sure what your talking about but I just read several articles from interviews and the devs said they are "fully fleshed out world's that you can explore." Doesn't sound scripted to me.
Once again, were comparing a game we've seen one video on to a game about to release and that has been reviewed all the way through.
I really think they need to make a game like their open world stars wars game truly next gen. The division 2 wasn't all that great due to it being basically the same as the division and still didn't have some of the initial promised features of the first game.
I will say we don't entirely know about ratchet and clank just yet. The author should not have compared a game they are reviewing to a game we've only seen one gameplay demo of though.
I was kinda not really looking forward to destruction allstars until that deep dive. It actually looks pretty decent and it's free so it should be nice as long as they update it regularly.
Gonna be a fun month for sure. I am glad I waited on buying control.
I'm not a horror game fan myself, but based off some of the reviews I've seen and some gameplay, I don't think this game deserves a 3/10. That's a spot reserved for truly buggy messes that have no real sense of anything really. It would have to be absolutely terrible. I will also say this game is trying to be different and is trying to do the two screen thing at the same time which is pretty cool.
I have the bioshock collection and I've been meaning to get into it sometime. I just wonder when I'll have the time and if it'll live up to the praise it gets.
And here comes all the good press for microsoft. Like the third or fourth article I've seen showing how amazing it all is. I don't doubt it has it's pros, but this is clearly damage control for the past few days.
Just wait on it. I thought about giving in, but it's honestly not worth it because not many games are really available this early anyways. The coolest part is really just the faster loading times.
I legit forgot about this game and thought it had stealth released or something.
Not entirely defending, but I saw a ton of youtubers and people damage controlling saying they should increase the price and justified it with Sony's increase in first party games as an example. That's not entirely a 1:1 argument.
Edit* look at one of the top stories right now. Xbox isn't wrong for charging more or something like that. Damage control.
Still can't wait to see how this game turns out. I honestly want microsoft to hit it right, but I have my doubts. they were fully invested in that trailer and for the launch. They even had advertisements and deals with energy drinks and stuff for the release date last year. Those are huge red flags because that was the only game supposed to release on the series x last year, which means everyone up to grinning good guy oh thought it was amazing. the world thought very differently. microso...
This game legit looks like it would have been fine at the start of the last generation life cycle. IDK about right now.
Microsoft as a whole is only surviving and making money from pure luck in the past and contracts. Think about it. They've failed on almost everything they make including half of the time with windows and their office products. The zune failed, the windows phone failed, laptops and 2 in 1's did ok.. tablets failed, xbox was in third place every gen they were in and this one won't be any different. The windows vista, 8, and 10 launches all were terrible and people hated them. The in...
This is like the 20th bad consumer move they've tried I'm the past generation until now. So they bought a few studios and phil said some nice things, that's all they've done so far to correct it. Basically it's a greedy company that has good PR and paid off writers.
That's exactly what I said like 8 months ago on here and no one wanted to believe me. To put it simply devs are craving for stronger specs even now to make the best looking and running games. To have to develop for something technically weaker than the last gen mid consoles is a dumb move by microsoft. Devs will start jumping ship and just using the base ps5 specs as the lowest common denominator. I give it until like 2023 the latest before you start seeing articles and interviews of devs...
