Call of Duty 4 isn't a port. The devs made all three versions at the same time. This has been said on a gametrailers interview.
But I was trying to paint a visual picture of two extremists. Nasim doesn't say anything bad about the PS3 and TheMart says nothing bad about the 360.

I wouldn't consider Americans self absorbed. I just feel in this situation, there is one fun console and one high end console/entertainment system. Why would the Japanese want a 360 that falls in the middle(leaning more twrds the PS3). Personally as a consumer, I wouldn't want it. No bashing intended.
I don't think Americans should change their products in any way so they suit more towards the Japanese, and lean towards excluding Americans. That wouldn't be a smart busines...
Why lose money to gain an install base that you are probably going to gain anyway in the US?
MS doesn't have an install base in Japan. So they need to do something to try and stimulate that. As in lower the price more.
Not to sound rude or anything but, even if they drop it by 100, I don't think Japan will still bite. They are just too in love with nintendo and sony. Something radical would have to happen, like sony or nintendo not making video game consoles anymore.

It is still HD. It still gets upscaled and you can only play it on a HD TV. You can't turn the upscaler off, can you? Just because Bungie found a creative way to make the game, doesn't mean it isn't HD. Beside you can't even tell when the game is in motion.

I don't have a problem with devs being outspoken. Personally I enjoy it. It gives their jobs more character. It's when others use that to "sick burn" someone else.
Although I agree with you, it doesn't matter what you say. If it had one, two, four gigs, devs would say it is still not enough.
It all matters how the "smart devs" utilize the space given, whether it be ram or disk space, that's all.

I'm not trying to hate, it's just they need to slow down with what they say. Half the time I couldn't understand what the dud on the right said, and he was cutting in most of the time. I was being serious about the speech thing, they need it.
