Your thinking to small Think of it as a step into space.A start for humans to be able to travel through space without the need of giant boosters.Would save billions of dollars as far as space flight goes.Could even allow building materials to be transported to build larger ships in space.Though the space cable would be cheaper to build but would not create the same amount of jobs.

This is not that great a generation.It brought us crap like on disc dlc,forced online connections for single player games,online passes,game breaking bug filled releases.I could go on but I will let some others list the crap this gen has brought.

Well it would be expensive at any point in time.You need a system to play the game a camera system to track the player and know the room size and angles.An then the projector that can project light in 360 degrees at a decent res.
When just a VR type headset would have a similar an better result.
MGS4 didn't really have long load times just the long install times.However at the time there was a 2 gig limit to file size for the PS3 OS this is no longer the case.So one install like with the current update to MGS4.Also the cut-scenes are in game and don't take up much space.The audio is what took up most of the space on the MGS4 disc.

Yea but even that version had issues with bugs.Getting stuck as a vampire for the rest of the game was a pain.

Im not a pc gamer really and I say there is no excuse for the game to be locked there.But you get what you pay for goes both ways here.They don't want to spend the time an money to get it running where it needs to be they will lose sells they would have gotten.
