MH3 was a PS3 project. It was later abandoned as they thought developing for the Wii was less expensive and they could generate greater profits.
To be honest, it didn't really matter because MHTri's graphics are absolutely gorgeous, the classic controller is supported and the online play is top notch.
Multi-console owners should have no problem at all.
