So you are infering that games such as GTA:CW and Zelda, along with a great catalog of rpg's (Pokemon included, I will always love those games no matter how old i grow). Plus the Mario and Luigi games are great. The fact is that first party devs for sony failed to put out games for the handheld, I dont wont, nor do I feel many will pony up the money for a system with no games.
The fact that you are acting like I am attacking you and the game displays your bias. I simply stated that due to the videos ive seen and the interviews I have read than it seems as if the game, isnt in fact a game, but a cutscene with button pressing (during movies the only button I enjoy pressing is the pause button so I can go take a whiz). But if you read my first statement you can also see that I display the same fear for Alan Wake due to the lack of information present. Rather than disp...
The fact that such downloading is becoming ever so present is the reason why developers are afraid to create PC only games. I know there is also the same problems within the console sphere, i know friends who have modded 360's, but it is ever present that if this continues than developers may begin to abandon the oldest platform there is, the PC.
I never was introduced to this series, but I am a huge fan of the humor that seems to be present in previous games in the series. I watched some gameplay released after the game was killed, and it looked nearly done. Ghostbusters got picked up, and I hope this does too. Whether it be sony or microsoft, or even a Ubisoft or EA; it would be an injustice to the brand and the people who put everything into getting the game this far only to see it collapse because of the present economic situation...
"I don't see how you could say that AW will be this gen's greatest game, when we haven't seen enough information and it hasn't been released. Games like Call of Duty 4 and Metal gear Solid 4 are more fit for that title"
Call of Duty was a great game, MGS4 on the other hand was the most over hyped game since GTA4. I begged my friend for a week to let me borrow his PS3 to play MGS4, he let me, and ultimatley I returned to him four hours later with a look on my face rese...
The PSP was an utter failure, the only game I enjoyed was God of War. Meanwhile the DSi I picked up (my only regret is that its f-ing baby blue) hasa already gained a catalog of games. 200 hundred dollars is a stretch, but when has sony ever listened to the consumer? What if they bundled the PSP Go with a PS3 for aroung 500$ Then they would get two game systems into a household and would lead to bigger software sales where companies make their money. They lost a billion dollars lasst year on ...
Microsoft doesnt need another Too Human fiasco. I mean it wasnt a terrible game, but it was doomed from the start. PS3 fanboys had a field day with that game. IMO it wasnt as bad as Haze though, it was the only game I have ever regreted playing at a friends house. I ignored that friend for a week because of the pain and boredom he put me through, while for 4 hours trying to convert me to the Playstation.
Ive never played a r&c game but might pick this one up. I didnt have a PS2, I chose a Gamecube and Xbox instead, so i never became intrigued with the series. Havent picked up a PS3 yet, hoping for the price drop at E3. But if not Ill pick one up any way.
This game intrigues me. Hopefully the games story will be as mysterious as its unveiling. People are inevitably compare this to Heavy Rain, or as I like to call it a series of cutscenes full of quicktime events adventure! The people in Alan Wake dont look like that lady from Ripleys Believe it or Not that can pop her eyes out. But we as gamers dont know the gameplay of Alan Wake, so it could be the same damn thing. Hopfully this game and Heavy Rain become more or less adventure games rather th...
Is anyone else tired of this stuff?
Makes me reminisce of long summer roadtrips with the family where i would completely ignore everryone in the car in order to become the very best. I put countless hours into these games that along with the N64 got me into gaming. The only thing that could up this in terms of DS software would be a sequel to Grand Theft Auto: Chinatowm Wars.
I dont understand the whole remarks of people saying that the Halo series is dead. It has had three games, how many has Metal Gear had? Like 10? Bungie said they werent going to make any more games with the Halo label, so this could be the internal project including Frankie at Microsoft and maybe Peter Jackson. I love the Halo brand and hopefully Mountain Dew will re-release Game Fuel with the release of ODST. I drank so much of that at launch I had orange piss that glowed in the dark.
Hopefully your actually a spy. That pic of the main character with a rocket launcher doesnt scream stealth. If they can give the player sleek weapons and keep the missions from being over the top action sequences straight out of a Michael Bay film than this will be a day one buy for me. Looking forward to this along with other slealth games; such as, Assassins Creed 2, The Saboteur, and Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Bungie has a huge team, they have vastly expanded since Halo3. At TGS they announced they were working on 3 projects, not including the internal Halo project in development at Microsoft. ODST cannot be their heavy hitter, since its only an expansion. But, I dont expect it to necessarily be labeled a "Halo" game. Marathon tied into the ending as seen after the credits in Halo 3 could be a possibility. The Bungie/Microsoft split I dont believe is evidence of a change of platform prefe...
I liked the first game, bit repetitive, but overall the free running was fluid and so was the sword fighting. These ares look to be further expanded and made better in the sequel so thats a plus. Even though the renaissance was totally gay, at least we wont have to hear the same preacher talk about the holy land as in the first game. I wonder if there is going to be any Da Vinci Code-esque conspiracies in the storyline since he is in the story, but overall it looks to be a solid game.
I hate this comparison crap. The games arent even remotely similar. I dont think anyone will by Uncharted 2 because of multiplayer, nor do i believe it will keep a large playbase. I think Naughty Dog should have kept with a single player game, because as Bioshock proved, you dont need multiplayer to be a great game. With the time the devs are wasting on multiplayer, they could be expanding single-player (what made the game good in the first place) to make it more polished and longer.
Awesome, best Sci-fi storyline since the original three star wars. Im hoping for more diversity in the side missions, better vehicle missions and manueverability, and more exploration using the Normandy.
I hope this game restores my faith in the stealth genre. Developers need to stop trying to create stealth/action games. What I mean is that if im playing a secretive spy, i dont want to be given a ak47 and expected to take out 25 guys in broad daylight. Give me a silenced pistol or uzi and let me assassinate corrupt politicians (hopefully D*ck cheney in the process). Crap, that comment is going to get me water boarded bt his secret police. All Im saying is that a true Splinter Cell, and GRAW ...
I will have to see a few more things before I run out to get in line for this thing. My brother bought a PSP at launch and neither of us have touched it since. Sony totally gave up on this thing. On my ds i get brand new zelda and mario games, as well as other great games. While the psp only has a crappy resistance game, the GoW:CoO was ok, but the lack of such games as lbp or motorstorm portable editions is holding the system back. The whole console war between the 360 and PS3 led to them ne...
Um... What is the hype behind this game? I bought the first one used at Gamestop, had an okay time killing zombies for like 30 minutes then tried the story. The indian boss was retarded, the game pissed me off, so I scratched it and returned to Gamestop to get my money back. I dont see how the second iteration will change anything, you can only hit a Zombie with a wrench so many times before it gets old.
