Alan Wake is actually a game, and it has great graphics. Its characters looks humanlike, and his movements looked crisp.
But there is no way this compares to the quick-time event masterpiece that is heavy rain. Heck if zBungie made the entire halo 3 game with cutscenes and qte's than it would look better than Heavy Rain.
Im guessing you dont own a 360 and havent played Mass Effect? It has yet to be matched by any RPG since its release in my opinion, and that is what the big deal about the game is.
Mass Effect 2 was ruled exclusive at EA's conference earlier. I was suprised it wasn't at Microsofts keynote, but I attributed that to EA wanted to show off the game first. I doubt Sony would get the game and EA would agree to act as if the deal hasnt happened until after the conference.
But why are we talking about this game. It will not even challenge WoW, and was completely overshadowed by the Old Republic at EAs conference.
That Ubisoft conference bored the hell out of me. I watched the whole thing to see this game and they show a CG trailer. It was a cool trailer, but why are they holding that back?
I liked the story of the last game. I hope that this one will include sort of a Da Vinci Code esque conspiracy in it, and that there are more assassination targets with more environments and more variety.
I love how all the sony fanboys think nothing is graphically appealing compared to the game that was KILLZONE 2!
MW2 looks great, it looks awesome. The game once again shows the stealth side and also the action, fast paced action we all love.
Quick question. How can anyone play shooters on the PS3? Compared to the 360 controller, the Six axis just doesnt feel right. Maybe its cause Im new to the system, but the sticks just dont feel right.
Have you read the threads on the MGS news? Sony fanboys are gooing insane! They are saying that Kojima doesnt care, and that he will pass it onto crappy devs. IMO these guys are practicing their favorite defense mechanisms, and I dont understand why. I find the whole thing hilarious. Yesterday they are raging about how many games the PS3 has, and today they are flailing about at anything they see as threatening.
I believe that the third title in the Gears of War series is being solely developed for the next xbox, or even the next version of the Unreal Engine. Until then I expect to see these side projects from EPIC. Hopefully this game will capture an old school feel to it.
WHERE WAS MASS EFFECT 2???????? This to many is the biggest game to be seen, and they leave it out of their conference. This means one of two things.
1. EA wants to show it at their conference, and wanted to show it off first.
2. Sony ponied up as MS probably did for MGS, and it is now no longer exclusive.

I mus have played through that game 20 times with friends in September and October until Fable 2 caame out. It had great atristic style and humor. I would love to see a revamp version made for the DS. Good luck, maybe ill download it again on my other xbox.
They pulled a Sega Saturn and told everyone that the Xbox 720 was available and that It launched with a new Halo, built in motion camera, the actual holy grail (including the blood line to Jesus), a robot phuck doll straight from Japan, and a mountain dew fountain.
If its anything else ill be disappointed.
That would be fine if they were a third party dev, but being a first party dev they need to create a game that is great and can move units. They took a chance on the Banjo change,which had its fun elements, but just didnt strike the core of what made the game great.
I would love to see a new IP from them. In a similar art style as the Banjo and even Kameo games but which an adult edge to it. A good platformer is hard to deny just look at Mario and even Ratchet and Clank.
Avenged Sevenfold doesnt even compare the Blink.They were the 90's and early 2000's. AS has some good stuff, but to say that they took over is a bit of a stretch.

Microsoft continues to amaze me. From z credible source I have just learned that the last 5 minutes will include the unveiling of the new Lips game with motion control camera movement.
