They got rid of the investigation missions, put the story in a more colorful environment with a cooler character. I didnt think that someone could possibly come up with a cooler name than Altair, but someone did. First day buy for me, if I have money left by the time it releases.

Sierra 117 was and is still one of the best looking single player levels I have ever seen. The HDR lighting is just amazing.
An entirely new engine built on top of prior knowlege on the platform will make this a great looking game.
Not that it matters any how, all the graphics whores only have a PS3 and will bash a halo game no matter how great it is.
When I saw Kratos stab a beast in the eye with its own horn, and then rip out the entrails of a centuar I had to make a trip to the bathroom. This game is going to most likely be my number one online game, and wont have to share the spotlight with Halo 3 like CoD 4 did. Might try out MAG though, or at least Bad Company 2.
It is well documented that MGS4 wasnt my favorite game of all time, but it wasnt bad either. The game had some good elements, but the story just held me back from embracing the game.AND DONT TELL ME ITS BECAUSE I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND IT. Playing the game turned into a chore. I ended up playing more on my DS during the cutscenes, then MGS4 during the gameplay.
There are a huge number of kids not only on halo, but on call of duty, and also on PSN. So dont say its due to the fact that kids only play halo. Im 17, but my first online games werent halo, but Counterstrike on the PC, but I love Halo games because they are just fun. Plus when you're a high level in h3 multiplayer you dont play many kids.
Why would Bungie leave a universe that they built to be so in depth? Why would they abandon something that can be told in different ways through different prespectives?

Look I know DVD9 is outdated, but what is the big deal about having two discs? If one is used to load to the harddrive, and is never to have to be used again. Im really tired of hearing the pc argument. If there are so many PS3 owners buying the 360 exclusives on the PC then why do they not sell well? Why do they sell in the multi-millions on the 360, and like sh*t on the PC? Plus arent they Game for Windows games made by Microsoft? I mean look at the facts. You can buy 2 Xbox 360s for the price of one PS3. They need to put the price point in the 350 dollar range, and maybe the consumer will actually have money left over top buy your games.

The Playstation controller has always been utter crap. Why dont they make one that fits the hand of a normal person. Holy sh*t its like you have to have the hands of a newborn to hold the thing. You have to do all of this while contorting your index and middle finger in position to press the shoulder buttons that when you press L1 you also press L2. Not to mention trying to go in a diagnol direction using the d-pad.
