But sonys DA best, they define gaming. Nintendo is just for kids. Zelda only gets high ratings cause it's Zelda but I won't apply that reasoning to any of sonys longer lasting franchises.

Prey was a phonemanal example of extrmley well level design, pacing, story, rpg upgrades, choices. Even though it was a linear game it was more open than horizon in the way it handled objectives. Prey blows horizon out of the water as well as most games this year.

I don't know why people praise horizon, it wasn't even the best Sony exclusive I've played this year as well as within critical reviews. Like horizon looked good, had a good story, it was just mediocrely fun to play. Gravity rush was a lot funner. I have yet to play persona and Nier but I have a feeling they will too.

I don't think they are trying to appease anyone. More options is fun. I'd even say I'd like the game less if these characters didn't have interesting and unique sexual preferences.
I personally think it's cool to be straight but than find a side guy I like to stick my dick into from time to time. Which I ended up halarious doing my first playthrough in DA. I like the opinions and it can give the character a unique identity.

I wouldn't call dragon age inquisition or mass effect andromeda abysmal. I'd call them both good games. Inquisition was my first DA game and in my opinion was fantastic.
Just chill out and enjoy a game stop being so critical. Have fun. If these games are abysmal your missing out on a lot of perceived mediocre games that tend to be quite great

Well I wouldn't call it one of the greatest generation. It had a good setting and story, and enemies but littered with a bunch of tiny flaws.
- rpg growth was shallow
- open world was small yet still more shallow than bigger worlds
- no secrets, everything was cluttered on your map
- no secret tech weapons to be found albeit one, instead everything good in the game could be bought from 1 vendor
- everything worth something to explore ...
