Yes all the games you listed all have their unique identity. I completely agree with you with those games
No because gravity rush isn't super cinematic focused. It's okay to have single player games. But all of these games are pushing a narrative rather than gameplay.
Now horizon still has fun gameplay but it could be a lot better if the camera had more room to explore and not be on your ass
I don't think you understand the article or have a hard time critique something you love. It's not saying their all the same game.
I love Sony too, their my fav console but if you care about games you'd appreciate them to maybe also make games with originality such as gravity rush
It's not their slapping another paint job, their all their own games just with using the formula of uncharteds success.
Every single game at e3 was that, that's the problem to me.
And gravity rush was easily sonys best game this year. 1st party at least not including 3rd party exclusives. It easily beats horizon and was one of my fav games of the year
Having this similar structure for their games is going to run thin at some po...
@andrew if you look at Mario 64 to Mario sunshine and than to galaxy you'd understand they are totally different games but with similar characters and atmosphere
While exclusive only 1 of those is made by Sony which has a lot of similarities too uncharted. Almost every game Sony makes now is trying to be uncharted
I've noticed that a bit.
Uncharted, last of us made Sony have a boner now we have a lot of the games taken in a similar direction
Horizon - open world uncharted
God of war uncharted
Days gone zombie open world uncharted
We need more games like gravity rush 2 Sony
Oh look in this scene he's in the sun so it's all vibrant and look in this other scene it's not sunny so it looks worse.
That's basically 99% of these downgrade articles now a days
Has horizon sold more? It would be great to here they reached naughty dog sales. Last I heard it was 3 million
Also consider the install base it's basically everyone that owns a switch has Zelda which is impressive
Remember ps4s launch? Kill zone and knack for the longest time
You can easily see switch is releasing a big title every month
Yes that what I've stated. Games are already astronomical budgets. Theirs only so much further we can go before it becomes unprofitable.
Who cares? Can I just play some fun games?
Looks like Netflix saw how well the Japanese exclusive anime were doing like seven deadly sins and decided to make their own anime. The game route is definitely a cool way to go. Anime works better than doing live action of games
You need more than 60fps for vr, because real life isn't given to you by frames in order for your brain to feel natural in a vr environment is to give it too many frames for it to discern. So about 90-120 fps
Your responding to satire? Sure some of it is probably his opinion but overdramatized for comedy as he's a comedian
For on the go play cartridges are quite nice saves you from using memory cards as well. My switch case holds 16 games and more if I wanted to put games in places unintended
On the couch it's a tad inconvenient but I still like collecting physical copies
Arms is majour, is also has digaseia 5. Which I thinks on the ps4 but I never got around to it or the series I'm looking forward to when i have the space between releases to try that one
Xbc x is a grind feast but a well designed one
Well besides the people that make Mario, Zelda and fire emblem I'd say than their the second tier. Retro used to be first tier they just rarely have released.
Loved tropical freeze though
Playing xenoblade x right now and it's probably the best gundam game that's not a gundam game
Arms, splatoon, Zelda, Kirby, yoshi, xenoblade, Mario
And Mario and rabbids looks supringly fun
