Ever watch Cocoon? The guy had just the right amount of chest hair to be awesome.
Were you even alive in '01?
Speaking of cropping 4:3 to 16:9, Tekken 5 had possibly the worst ever -- character shadows were almost completely cropped. I'm glad I can tolerate the older aspect ratio, even with black bars on the side.
No thanks, bro. Chris and Jill don't need botox injections.
I'll be purchasing the white one to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Dreamcast.
The insult wasn't necessary, but I agree with the rest of the last sentence.
People that play only on consoles aren't going to go build a gaming PC. They'll buy the XBONE and play it on there. PC gamers that like console-style games will buy it on Steam and MS gets money from both types.
I love how you included Africa, bro. It makes your post just that wee bit extra offensive.
They definitely put a lot of work/money into it, but it's very dull and forgettable. It's all a shootbang with xp points, upgrades -- general Ubi-style crap.
The Legacy of Kain saga(especially the original Blood Omen). If you play the 1996 Blood Omen, you'll be in shock at how excellent the voice acting is -- same year as Resident Evil.
That Ferrari needs some new shock absorbers.
Nintendo only needs properly distilled 3rd party exclusives, along with their fantastic in-house gems. The Gamecube's Resident Evil is loved by by many, and that's a lot better than ports of 3rd party generic games that will be forgotten in a few years time -- I have a PC that takes care of that part anyway. Please bring over the new Fatal Frame for a start.
That's Zelda II Adventure of Link. Hard, but beatable. This game makes Dark Souls look like PoP 2008.
I agree. The 90s had the most incredible videogame library.
That would be the 80s for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved most of the 90s too.
Edit: I'm not the one who disagreed with you.
4K will never be standard. 8K on the other hand will. Also, you'd need some pretty beefy hardware to brute force some PC games, even for 1080p/60. I'm a PC gamer that grew up with PC/console games and prefers to have it hooked up to my HT(my kind are growing in the PC scene). Good job with the flamebait post BTW.
Nintendo knows how to use their characters without over-milking them. Why do you think they have lasted so long? Also, they change things up all of the time with new gameplay mechanics that are actually "new".
PC versions would be nice, but get outta here with that Nvidia nut-hugging.
I'd like to see majestic monuments/locales/tombs and muddy waters to swim in. The last one lacked most of that. Keep the combat of 2013, but give me equal doses of decent platforming.
FFVII was the right game at the right time, with the right level of technology to blow RPG-lovers away. It was just the special, and resonates with many of us that grew up in the 90s. Also, good of you to mention that Sega Saturn gem -- Zwei and Saga pushed the system in the right way and took advantage of the VDP2 chip.
