Sweet steal. I'm gonna get one tomorrow.
Sweet, it's so nice to see the PS3 getting support like this. Gonna have a lot to play this year. The hardcore gamers are going to have something to play as well as the casual gamer with the Moves titles coming out this year. Feel sorry for those who are missing out.
@ Pepper
Yeah, I think. Syphon Filter was the game back in the day. I'd lose it if a game was announced for the PS3.
Edit: @ Afterlife
Keyword is "PS3 exclusive". I don't think it's gonna be a PSN game.
If Vgchartz is reliable today, the PS3 has really been pushing ahead of the 360 this year. The 360 dropped as much as 22%, the most on the chart. The PS Vita looks to be holding on for it being priced higher than the competition ($250). Looks like Kinect: Star War won't hit it predicted million sold either if it only managed to sell 125k Worldwide (Probably at 550k in overall sales). All in all, everything dropped this week.
If Vgchartz is legit today, the PS3 is really dominating in Europe. The PS Vita looks to be hanging tight as well (Only 19k difference from the 3DS at a higher price point, $250). Looks like everything still dropped this week including the 3DS though. Kinect Star War looks to have just ok in Europe with 41k. If Vgchartz numbers are right, it looks like Kinect: SW won't hit a million as predicted.
So I take it that Vgchartz is legit today? If so, it's so sad to see the 360 getting outsold by the DS and now the Wii like that. It's fallen as much as 61%. The 360 is really declining globally like the recent MS fiscal report stated.

They aren't selling at a loss. The PS Vita has actually been profitable since day 1.

Edit: Now I see why. This is from Catherine from Edge Magazine. Almost as bad as that Tom Chick journalist.
Hope things are up and running to tip-top shape soon.
I actually had the 360 before I bought a Ps3. I bought my PS3 when it was priced at $300.
Should give the PS3 a big boost WW as well as the "US". Great deal.
@ Units
Yeah, they could. The article you posted is talking about Sony loses as a whole company, the PS division actually makes a profit despite what you may believe. The Ps3 has been making money off hardware since 2010, they probably make more off it since it's now 2012 so they could afford a price cut. If the 360 doesn't drop the price, I think the Ps3 won't need to drop the price.

True, it's almost like he has something going on where he doesn't want Sony to cut the price. I mean, it wouldn't hurt them since it would still makes a profit for Sony (Ps3 has been profitable since 2010), but then again, the Ps3 has come up somewhat in the US this year (180k last year differences are now down to 34k differences in units sold between the 360 and Ps3 in the US). They could hold out if the 360 doesn't drop the price, they've been pretty close to the 360 as ...
Nice deals. Thanks for the heads up, Trend.
Sweet deals, especially if you have a Kinect device. A lot of games for it are on sale.
Yeah, these are most likely just placeholder dates.
I hope it's true. Looks pretty good, like one of those old school brawler games.

Looks like Prototype 2 is set to me. No real competition.
I think the problem is that too many people depend on metacritic or reviewers in general when it comes to deciding on whether to pick the game up or not. Not many gamers decide for themselves anymore, which in turn, hurts a few new IP/genres that come out that probably aren't bad at all (Reviewer opinions affect sales). Metacritic can really make or break you, which kinda deters most developers and publishers from innovating too much.
Not bad. I actually like it (NA usually gets the worst box art).
Starhawk, Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon and Mortal Kombat Vita this month? *rings up my brother for the cash that he owes me*
